Unnecessary Contact

"Was that so bad?" Usopp asked with a smirk.

"Y-you enjoyed it too you ass." You gasped. "And yes, it was horrible."

Usopp laughed. "Why was it horrible?"

"Cause it was you of all people that found out!" You said in a slightly pissed off tone. You then realized that you hinted at another thing that he shouldn't know, and he wasn't a moron either, meaning he might have caught it.

"Aaaand, what's wrong with me being the one to find out?" He asked.

"Nothing! It's... my tongue slipped and I mispronounced one of my words." You said evasively.

"Nope. It's something yet again! Looks like you need to tell me why it's so different that I found out!" Usopp said, lightly poking at your sides again.

"D-Don't!" You stammered, jerking in the opposite direction of his touch.

"Then tell me." He said, raising his fingers threateningly.

"F-fine! It just HAD to be you of all people because... because..." You hesitated, unwilling to finish your sentence. Usopp poked your side once more to provoke the ending of the sentence. "ITS EMBARRASSING FOR ME CAUSE I LIKE YOU!" You said loudly due to the poke.

Your blush increased and you covered your mouth in embarrassment. He actually made you say it. If only you hadn't so stupidly made a hint. That really was a slip of your tongue, and you kept scolding yourself in your head for letting it slip.

"God, I went and fricking said it." You mumbled from behind your hand, heat rising from your reddened face. You took a glance up at Usopp to see what he was up to, since he wasn't responding. The only thing you saw was a slightly shocked face change into a sweet one with a soft smile. "What? Think of more evil shit to do and make me spill out my life story?" You asked, trying to sound like an asshole.

"Nope. I'm just thinking of how good of an experience this was for the both of us." He said.

"You mean for you." You said bluntly. "Poking around."

"No, for both of us." He said, leaning down close to you. "Because what you said means that I can finally do this." He said, filling in the gap between you and kissing you softly on the lips.

Your eyes widened at his actions. Usopp, the one crew member you just so happened to like, was leaning down on top of you and kissing you. You were completely unsure of what to do anymore. He just randomly, up and out of the blue kissed you. Was this just another thing he was doing to tease you? He just finished tickling you to death for information on two subjects that you would have preferred to not touch, and then he kisses you? Your thought process was mixed up for a moment until you sorted everything out. After you finally said that you liked him, he told you that he could finally do this. Finally. Meaning he has wanted to do this for a while. He wasn't pulling one of his lies, he was being completely honest, and showing it through physical contact that mean so much more. Slowly, your eyes closed and you relaxed, kissing him back slightly while your blush was steadily increasing. He was so gentle about it too. You felt him smile slightly when you kissed back and he pulled in as close as he could to you, deepening the meaning that he was saying through the kiss. When he finally parted from you, his smile was sweet, and you were still blushing up a storm with a tiny smile tugging at the corners of your mouth.

"Your face is pretty red. You mad or something?" Usopp joked.

"Are you just messing with me again?" You asked, trying to confirm the thoughts scrambling through your brain.

"Maybe. I mean, that was kind of some unnecessary contact right there..." He said, literally trying to mess with you.

"No, it was necessary, moron." You said, poking him and letting your small smile spread.

Usopp chuckled and got off you to allow you to sit up. "I think it was a pretty good thing for me to persist on the answer, don't you think? Because I finally got the opportunity to kiss you."

You sat up and looked at him with your own sweet smile. "So you aren't lying when it came to that kiss. Good! You aren't exactly a ballsy person when it comes to that." You said.

"Heeey!" Usopp said.

You laughed lightly at his reaction. "Can you promise me two things though?"

"Sure."

"One, don't EVER tell anyone that I'm ticklish, and two, don't tickle me again please?" You said, holding your sides again for protection.

"Usopp laughed. "I can keep the first one, but I'm not so sure about the second one~!" He teased.

"Noooo!" You complained, scooting a few inches away from him.

"Maybe! I'll just leave it when its a situation that there is no need for unnecessary contact then." He said, pulling you back and into a warm hug.

You smiled and leaned into him, thinking that it wasn't such a bad day after all. Even though you were nearly tickled to death, the end result was worth it. He might end up trying to tickle you again though, so you might have to yell unnecessary contact at him a few times, though you don't think that will stop him that much, just because he really does love to see you smile at his hands.
