"I call this piece-" Jeongguk started, pushing back the voice in his head telling him to shut the fuck up. Of course Jeongguk never listened to that voice. "I'm-sorry-for-trying-to-kiss-you-when-I-was-drunk-please-don't-sue-me-you-just-have-really-nice-lips--"

Jeongguk paused.

"-in d major."

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise but he concealed it with a husky chuckle. He shook his head, but tilted his head as he watched the younger with his arms crossed. He gave a motion as if to say go on and the younger began.

Jeongguk sucked in a deep breath.

"Oh fuuuuuuuuucckkkkk-" Jeongguk sang in a falsetto, his eyes closed shut as he gave his heart and soul for the performance. His fingers occupied a bunch of keys, even the boy was unaware of. He halted when the tune came to an end. Dang he didn't think this through.

Silence.

"Do re mi fa so la ti hoooeee~" he added an adlib.

He sure was making a fool out of himself, but what's new.

A pause.

"Thank you."

Taehyung on the other hand, was struggling hard not to laugh. Laughter was bubbling up his chest and he covered his face to mask it, but to no avail. When Jeongguk himself couldn't help but laugh at himself, the devil joined him.

"You're one of a kind, Jeon." Taehyung added, out of the blue and Jeongguk sobered up. Taehyung, realising what just left his lips, turned around to leave the room with flushed cheeks.

"T-thank you." Jeongguk choked out, trying not to let a smile creep up to his lips.

He followed the devil out of the room, talking non-stop as Taehyung continued to nod away.

"Oh and not gonna lie, your piano skills are kinda hot." Jeongguk remarked as he stopped skipping down the hallway, to glance down at himself with a smirk. "Little Jeon agrees."

"That's disgusting, Jeongguk."

"Sorry."

"I'll help you, Jimin."

Jimin had returned from his grocery shopping spree and was now going through the items bought when the devil approached him. He and Jimin hadn't had time to spend together and so Taehyung felt an overwhelming amount of guilt bearing over him.

"It's fine, sire. I can do it myself." Jimin muttered, sending a small graceful bow towards Taehyung. Taehyung let out a light chuckle. Jimin proceeded to continue his task as Taehyung started to unpack the groceries along with the blue haired boy.

"It wasn't a request." Taehyung said with a faint smile and his friend couldn't help but retaliate the gesture.

The pair busied themselves with the unpacking as Jimin deliberately avoided the devil's questioning glances. Suddenly, Taehyung sighed out loud, dropping the bananas on the table as he pressed his palms against it before he leaned forward to look at Jimin straight in the eyes.

"Jimin, I've known you for years and I know when something's wrong. Speak."

Jimin swallowed the lump in his throat as he glanced away. Suddenly the bottle of ketchup in his hands was the most interesting, captivating thing in the world. Jimin knew he couldn't escape Taehyung's question as silence overgrew, and so he responded.

"I- just- I don't know. Ever since Jeongguk got here, I've felt-" he lifted his eyes to notice that the devil's eyebrows were furrowed. He stopped. "You know what, never mind, sire."
