A/N : part two! i'm really sorry i know it's been a few days since part one but i've been really busy with school work :/

Y/N'S POV later on in the afternoon, after everyone left mine and louis' house, i made my way to louis' family home with bags of presents for everyone.
the rest of christmas day consisted mainly of eating, drinking, talking, opening presents and playing games. mr partridge's christmas dinner was exquisite, it honestly keeps getting better each year. to be honest it was a great day but there was something in me that wasn't right, knowing louis wasn't there, christmas just wasn't the same. i knew he would be coming tomorrow but i wanted him here now.
it reached around 11:30 and my mum decided she would drop me to my house as i had a bit too much to drink (oops).
i walked into my house, put my bag and coat by the front door and made my way to the kitchen, i was feeling pretty thirsty.
"hey baby" i heard a voice from behind me say, and not just any voice...
"louis!" at that moment i felt like i had completely sobered up. i ran over to him and hugged him the tightest i ever have. he picked me up giving me a passionate kiss as though it had been forever, which it really felt like it had been. i pulled away, "merry christmas louis" i said going back in for another kiss. eventually we broke apart, "merry christmas y/n".
"how are you back already?!" i questioned. "well i did tell you this morning that my flight was at 9, earlier that it was meant to be, but you seemed stressed so i wasn't sure you'd catch on" louis explained. that makes so much more sense now. "i don't think you understand how happy i am to see you" i told him lovingly. "oh i think i understand alright" he responded with a smirk. we headed upstairs to get ready for bed.
not long after, i fell asleep in the comfort of his arms again, i felt safer than ever.
