Ashley peered around the street, cautiously slipping under the low tree in Jessica's front yard. She attached the radio microphone to her collar and slipped the balaclava over her head.
"Here goes nothing." she muttered to herself, opening the little box hidden in the trunk that contained the spare key and taking it out.

Unlocking the front door, Ashley slipped inside and examined the hallway before her. She examined the line of dog bowls across the edge and each name engraved in them.
From the familiar smell of vegan burritos, the brunette decided that the dining room was behind the door at the very end. She took a deep breath, wanting to slow her thumping heart.
Ashley peered through the crack of the slightly opened door. Just her luck, Jessica sat alone with her back to the door.
"Are you ready outside?" the brunette hissed into the microphone, hearing a faint 'yes' replied through her earpiece. She nodded, opening the door a bit more so she could sneak in and hide behind a cabinet. Suddenly a Siberian Husky appeared beside her, sniffing all over the brunette. She tensed, attempting to push the huge dog away quietly but as soon as she managed to get that dog off, a Rottweiler began on the other side. Then along came the German Shepherd.

Ashley slowly stood up, weaving her way between the dogs and holding her breath as she began to steal upon her target, Jessica.

Releasing the burlap bag from the pocket of her jacket, Ashley quickly shoved it over the blonde's head, pulling her close against her chest. Jessica jerked her body forwards, testing the strength of her attacker, before grabbing Ashley's wrist and twisting it backwards, loosening her grip enough for the blonde to reach forwards and grab a knife.

"You're pretty strong, I'll give you that." Jessica teased, ducking down completely out of the brunette's hold. "But strength isn't enough to hold me."

Ashley pulled out her dagger and lunged forwards, forgetting in the moment that this girl she was attacking was Jessica Smith of all people. She managed to scrape the side of the blonde's shoulder before she felt a foot slam into her crotch and a fist on her shoulder.
"Shit." the brunette growled, noticing that the dogs were now snarling at her. She kicked the German Shepherd in the muzzle, then thrusted herself forward. Ashley pushed the blade in the blonde's flesh, leaving a deep gash along her shoulder.

A bullet shooting past Jessica's head shocked them both. Another masked figure with locks of red hair seeping out pointed a gun at the blonde.
"Don't move blondie." Jerrie's voice brought a small bit of comfort to Ashley, distracting her before she felt a sharp blade dragged down her forehead, across her eyebrow and another one stabbed into her stomach. "I said don't move."

A few more masked figures arrived to see Ashley completely pin Jessica down on the floor and expertly slam the knives from the blonde's hands into the wall in a fit of rage. The brunette tied Jessica's hands together and stood her up, replacing the burlap bag over her head. The group then led her to the waiting van outside and forced her into the back. Jerrie ran over to Ashley, who was being attacked once again by the dogs and pulled her out and into her own car.

"Shit she got you real bad." the redhead removed her sweater and tied it around the brunette's stomach. "Hang in there. I'll check it properly when we get to my place."
Ashley nodded deliriously, leaning back in the seat.

"I can't believe I actually did that." she whispered, pulling off her gloves to reveal her bloody knuckles.
"Me neither." Jerrie chuckled softly. "Rae and Kaiden are gonna put everything the way it should be so it looks like nothing happened."

"Yep." the brunette nodded again, regretting it immediately when she began to feel dizzy. "Fuck that hurts."
"I can imagine." the older woman looked around in the empty streets of early dusk. "I just hope it hasn't hit anything major."
"I'll be fine nonetheless Jerrie." Ashley murmured. "You know me."
"Indeed I do." Jerrie looked over at the brunette. "Please just keep your eyes open."
"Why?" the younger woman groaned. "I'm so tired. And I won't feel the pain."
"Because I don't need you passing out so I need to take you to hospital and somehow explain how you got stabbed in the stomach without exposing everyone." the redhead sighed. "Keep talking to me Ash. We're almost there."

"I think I still do have a crush on Jessica." Ashley mumbled unconsciously. "She's soooo pretty. We used to cuddle in bed in college, we did. I could lay there with my face in the back of her neck forever. She smelled so nice, like chamomile and vanilla. I got to teach her things about life, and she would bring out the little kid in me. We planned to live together. Go to California, have 2 dogs, called Rosie and Daisy, she would be a famous singer-songwriter, I would be doing my midwifery. And then when we found someone we dated and wanted to move in with, we would still try our best to be just as close. Little did she know I wanted to date and live with her forever."
She giggled faintly.
"What do you think the price of chairs in Argentina are?" Ashley swayed slightly in her seat. "Do you think Jessica would like a nice chair?"

"I don't know Ash." Jerrie looked concernedly at the brunette, who was completely spaced out in the car seat. "Ash.. Ashley, wake up! Fuck, fuck, fuck."
The redhead parked outside her house and shook the brunette slightly, attempting to wake her. She couldn't let her pass out when they were so close.
"Come on! Please. Just 5 more minutes. Just into the house and you can collapse. Ashley please." Jerrie pleaded to the doped girl.

Ashley tried to open her eyes, but they fluttered shut, creating an impenetrable darkness that clouded her vision, her mind, her body.
