i woke up to a great start. it was the day of the album release and i could not wait for them to put it out because it had been stressing billie for too long. i hadn't had that dream today so it was kind of a relief. billie puts her hand around my waist and kisses my neck
billie: morning
madison: hey
billie: i can't wait to put this album out
madison: me too
she hums and kisses my neck again. her hand travels down my body and she rolls over so she's on top of me, connecting our lips.
billie: i love youuuuu
madison: i love you toooooooo
she kisses me again and then begins to get off me. i grab her hand and pull her back onto my body. she smiles into my neck.
billie: let's get up
madison: few more seconds
i feel her relax on me as we lay there. she leaves kisses on my neck every now and then, making sure i'm okay or just giving me some type of comfort as if her presence isn't more than enough. i guess we got caught up in the time because half an hour later she's asleep in my arms. as much as i didn't want to wake her, if i tried to get up i'd ruin it anyway.
madison: baby
she doesn't respond
madison: babe
billie: mm
madison: come on get up

we had just arrived at finneas house for the party for the album. denzel was throwing one, but nobody went because finneas had announced the party before him. obviously though, he was invited and he was here. billie was absolutely off her face, and this is probably the first i have ever seen finneas drunk, since new years that is. everyone was lit.
madison: i'm gonna go get me a drink
billie: okay
she kisses me then i get up and walk to the kitchen. i grab myself another beer and then feel a tap on my shoulder
jahseh: hey, can i talk to you?
madison: yeah what's up
jahseh: can we go outside please?
i nod and follow him outside
jahseh: i-
he sighs.
jahseh: i guess i don't know how to say this, heh.
madison: take your time
we find a bench to sit down at as he looks off into the distance, playing with his fingers as if he was afraid of telling me. he suddenly turns to me and stands up, i stand with him and follow him onto the footpath again, some people scattered around outside as well.
jahseh: okay, i want to tell you but i'm scared
madison: it's okay
jahseh: it's liam
suddenly i was scared, and i started to think about what i should do rather than just stand here
jahseh: he got out of jail and he's here looking for you and he paid me to do this but i didn't want to but he threatened me and he's gonna kill yo-
that's when it happened. a loud bang interrupts everyone and i drop my bottle, trying to keep myself steady over the ringing in my ear. everyone was shouting and panicking as i felt it. a quick sharp pain in my stomach. he rushes to my side and catches me before i fall, laying me on the ground. he leans down and holds my hand for a second
jahseh: i'm so sorry, i'll call the ambulance
i grab onto his arm and my eyebrows knit together
madison: you can't- leave- me here to- die!
jahseh: i'm sorry
madison: jah!
i watch as he gets up and runs away, the door bursting open and everyone running outside.
billie: maddie? maddie!
she runs over to me, noticing my already blood covered shirt.
billie: SHE'S HURT CALL AN AMBULANCE
we both sat there while the whole world turned around us.
madison: this is it..
billie: no, stay with me!
she cried as she put pressure on the wound.
billie: the ambulance are on their way just stay with me please
i couldn't reply. all i could do was cry with her.
billie: i'm sorry for everything i'm so sorry
this felt like a dream. everyone around us was going crazy. everyone i knew was running around, getting in their cars and leaving in panic, trying to save their own lives. one thing i had learnt in this was that hapiness was all i wanted. if i was happy, i'd accept death. we hear distant sirens and she puts her head down onto my chest. everthing begins to fade around me. i was dying. only now had i taken a moment to realise i'm not gonna make it. my whole life flashes before my eyes, everything seeming to go slow but my mind going fast.
madison: i'm happy
she looks at me, not fully understanding what i mean by that.
billie: i can't do this on my own
madison: you will never be on your own.
billie: stay with me, you'll make it
madison: i'll see you on the other side.. i love you
billie: please don't leave me.....
her voice fades as my eyes close and i take in her scent for the last time.
