Meilin rushed out of Kinomoto Residence almost tripping on her untied shoes with Tomoyo following her to the car.
"Hello. Li?" Tomoyo ran holding the rim of her skirt in one hand and her phone in the other.
Meilin snatched the phone from her hand and screamed.
"WHY DID YOU IGNORE MY CALL!?"
Syaoran pushed the phone away from his ear thanks to his cousin's deafening question. Yamazaki and Eriol looked at him with an all knowing smile.
"It wasn't intentional." He lied.
"Save all that for later. Sakura's in big trouble. Go to her apartment. NOW." She hurried.
"What?"
"I'm SURE that witch attacked her. GO! GO!"

For a second, Syaoran could feel his heart drop. He immediately stood up and picked up his coat, still a little groggy from all the alcohol. Eriol looked at his face and sensed something wrong.
"It must be a family emergency." He assured Yamazaki who was a little confised about what happened to Li.

Luckily, her apartment wasn't very far away from the cafe, but amidst all the panic, he couldn't think clearly and stumbled out the door. He puffed and ran hopelessly in the cold with his vision blurring around the edges.
"Hop in." Eriol drove Yamazaki's bike up to Syaoran and offered a ride.
He hesitated for a while, then got up on the motor feeling a little awkward sharing a ride with someone he wasn't fond of.
Eriol adjusted his glasses, rolled his hands on the accelerator and buzzed past the narrow streets.
