Sakura enthusiastically collected all the dishes from the tables and passed them to the kitchen. Miku watched her run from one table to another, taking order after order, not sighing even once about the work pressure.

The cafe was bustling with energy; young boys admiring the waitresses from far, teenagers taking pictures against the decor and Sakura was unknowingly at the center of it all.
"You really know how to light up a room when you're not down yourself." Miku patted her shoulder.
"That's because I have a mission today. I have to help someone feel better." Sakura's eyes were lit with fire.
Miku laughed.
"No wonder Shiro was so fond of you." Miku spoke without thinking.
Sakura looked away, avoiding eye contact, and Miku noticed this right away.
"Miku! Let's go, the store will close in an hour." A third voice from the door called them. It was Ayumi.
"Just a few more customers, then we'll leave." Miku answered, sighing as her good timing saved her from a confrontation.
"Okay. I'm getting some coffee then." Ayumi waved her hand and found her way to a table.

"It would be great if you came along as well." Ayumi spoke to Sakura as she arranged the pleats on her skirt.
"I told you she's almost living in a different world now." Miku commented as she walked briskly with trays on both her hands.
"Get me something if you find..." Sakura smiled as she placed a rounded mug with hot coffee on the table.
"Anything with stars or wings on them. Definitely."
Sakura called out to Miku, announcing that she was leaving. She grabbed her cream overcoat, wrapped her soft pink mufler around her neck, grabbed her bag and left.
