The restaurant brimmed with the cheerful chatter of youthful groups. The dark painted steel domes of light illuminated the organized wooden tables and tall glass windows separated the cosy interiors from the Tokyo's world of chaos outside.
Meilin Sakura and Naoko were seated huddled up together, sharing details about what they'd been upto recently.

"You mean you'll be working with Fuji for your next film?" Naoko exclaimed with her eyes sparkling. Her steel rimmed round glasses covered almost half of her face and her hair was cut bluntly at the edge of her neck.
Meilin nodded proudly.
"Someone arranged me an invite to his party and after some laborious convincing, he was ready to cast me." Meilin crossed her arms and grinned.
Sakura sipped the chocolate shake as she thought about how different Meilin's work life was compared to her's. She thought about all the eventful parties Meilin must be attending, the free trips to shooting locations and also the thrill of being onstage. Sakura couldn't help but feel a little conflicted about her feelings towards Meilin's fortune.

"When do you start working with him? Can I come meet him sometime?" Naoko asked.
"Let me see if Mayama can do something." Meilin fished into her bag to take out her phone.
Soon after Eriol's advice, and a little bickering with Syaoran, Sakura diligently reached out to all her old friends from Tomoeda.
First she met up with Chiharu and Yamazaki, especially because Syaoran was enthusiastic about it, then had a video call with Rika as she was living abroad, and the last one from the group was Naoko.
