I doze off in Olive's arms dreaming about college and how he might leave me. I quickly wake up in a cold sweat and realize that he's still here with me. I wrap my hands around the back of his neck and he pulls my waist in.
"you okay Ems?" he quietly asks
"yea I'm fine" I reply
We both hear the sound of the garage opening and sigh. Knowing that I'll only have a little bit of him left before they come in. I stand up and hug his shoulders and he hugs my waist again.
"ugh do we have to go back to normal nowwww?" he pouts
"yea I guess so Olive" I reply
he plants a kiss on my forehead and goes back to hugging me, he buries his head into my neck and I watch his back rise as he breaths. We decide to walk downstairs and separate hands helping unpack the leftovers their grandparents sent back with them. Olivia and I go into her room and she starts talking about how she saw a cute blonde haired boy across the street while at their grandparents.
"So do you have your eyes on anyone?" she asks excitedly
"Eh not really" I say realizing that I couldn't let my bestfriend know that I was in love with her brother without him being here.
