Once we play Monopoly I end up falling asleep next to Luna and Emma, Olivia was at the foot of the bed sleeping when I woke up to get a drink. I try not to awake Emma and get down from Olivia's bed Luna quickly follows me into the kitchen, I grab a cup form the cabinet setting it down to put water in it. As I reach into the fridge I hear footsteps coming from creaky old wood in front of the kitchen. Emma quickly emerges into the light and sits on the counter rubbing her left eye. I fill my glass with water and sit on the counter with Emma.
"Did I wake you up?" I ask while quietly whispering
"No I just heard Lunas loud ass feet on the stairs and came down" She whispers in a sleepy voice
I quietly laugh, and hand Emma my water cup, she quickly takes a sip from the opposite side I drank out of.
We both walk back upstairs climbing back into bed Emma came after me lifting the sheet over her shoulder and snuggling into my chest. I place my head over hers and wrap my arm around her waist quickly falling asleep knowing that she was safe next to me.
