(16) Putters or Pearls

Even though Madison and Noah already knew they were having a boy cause she was six months along when everyone else started to come out with their announcements. The girls were still so excited to be pregnant together and they were all either due the same month or due within a month of each other. So they felt it only fitting to plan their gender reveal party together. So London had her mom find a event planner that could handle the task of planning a huge event. 

They all decided on one theme for the party. It took several nights of voting with the guys to decide on a theme. After some voting and a lot of convincing they settled on "Putters or Pearls." The guys had outgrown football some and began to play golf more on Saturdays together when they weren't bogged down with homework. Invitations went out to family for the big event.

One night at dinner at Gabe and London's house. 

"So this is how this is going to work. Cass and I will go to each other's appointments. I will take her envelope and she will take mine. Maggie and Montana will do the same as will Madelyn and Madison. Logan's sister Sasha is going to go with Bobbi since she has already offered to go with Bobbi. Nobody is allowed to look at the envelope. Regina has asked that we mark each envelope with the last name." London said 

"Well let's hope that we don't get told wrong. I don't understand why we can't have separate parties baby." Gabe said 

"Well I'm just trying to save everyone money." London said 

"Well it's won't be to hard to figure which one is ours." Bucky said 

"Yeah you two over achievers." Noah said 

"We are not. That's you and Madison." Bucky said 

"Uh excuse me you two are the ones with twins." Noah said 

"He's got a point Barnes." Joey said 

"I agree.." Alex said 

Cassidy just rolled her eyes Max was asleep in Bucky's lap. 

"Besides you two already have one." Gabe said 

"Hey now..he was a surprise. It wasn't like I was trying to knock her up. I wasn't aware that we were having unprotected sex. I thought she was on birth control."  Bucky said 

"Anyways..dinner was delicious Lon. But it's time to get home he's already asleep." Cassidy said 

"Yeah.." Bucky said 

"Goodnight you two. See you tomorrow." London said 

"See you tomorrow." Cassidy said as they left.

Three weeks later..

Everyone was in Boston for the gender reveal party that was invited. All of Bucky's siblings and her siblings. Her grandmother Maxine stayed behind with Bucky's grandparents James' sister Pamela stayed behind as well. They had set up a live stream on Zoom for them to be able to be apart of the reveal.

The event venue looked amazing it was on outdoor patio of the Heyward mansion. They all had lunch together as everyone continued to put in their votes of boy or girl on each of the couples. It was finally time for the big reveal. Each of the dads to be were given a golf ball with their names on it. Bucky was given two that was also labeled twin A and Twin B. 

They all tees up. 

"Up first Joey and Maggie." London said 

Joey took a swing and his golf ball busted open and revealed blue chalk dust.
