(3) "What's your problem?"

3 months later..

"Here mom said to give these to you." Bucky said as he laid a box of maternity clothes on the couch in their office. 

He kissed her head but saw her Reese's cups bag. He spun her chair around to see her eyes were red and puffy. 

"Baby what happened?" He said as he squatted down. 

"Our friends said that their parents will be at our baby shower but they will not be." She said 

Bucky looked down as he shook his head. 

He sighed. "I'll talk to them baby doll. Maybe we could have like a dinner and hash everything out." He said 

"Okay.." she said as she hugged him. 

"It will be okay baby. I'll fix it this is something I can fix." He said as he wrapped his arms around her. 

The next day Bucky and Cassidy went to the grocery store to buy what they wanted Sienna to make for the dinner. They sent out a mass text in the group text asking everyone to come to their house for dinner. Sienna made sure the house was clean and started cooking what they requested. 

Around 630 that night their friends pulled into their driveway. As they all took seats at the dinner they enjoyed the meal. But you cut the tension with a knife between their group of friends. Sienna brought out two different pies a peanut butter and a apple pie. 

"Thank you Sienna you can go ahead and take off." Bucky said in a low tone. 

After she left Bucky looked down the table. 

"What's your problem?" He said 

They all looked up at him. 

"Seriously? I have wanted to be with this girl right here since I was 14. But I let her go cause she and I wanted two different things. She wanted to wait and I didn't. So what's the problem with us being together?" Bucky said 

They all looked down. 

"And this all started because I chose my wife over my own selfish needs. She made me see I wasn't thinking about us her and I. We have a baby boy on the way that we have to think about as well. You all are suppose to be our friends and you haven't been "friends" with us since December.." Bucky continued 

"This was all a stupid dare Buck. This wasn't suppose to be real." Natasha said 

"It was all fine till you all suddenly started being more like a married couple." Clint said 

"Well I'm sorry..but this our life now. Sorry that I no longer want to be a party boy sorry I want to keep my trust fund." Bucky said 

"All we are asking for is a little support from our friends. It hurt my feelings yesterday when you all told me about not coming to our baby shower. I get it you all are ready to be free but some of us have to be more serious about life decisions we make. Me and Bucky are married we are having a baby it's all real. And in the last three months he has shown me that there is more to him than meets the eye." Cassidy said 

"We want you all there when we have our real wedding. We want our future kids to grow up with yours like we did. But that won't happen if you all continue to act like this.." Bucky said

"We always talked about going to college together playing college ball together." Sam said 

"And I'm still playing college ball. I just won't be on the same team as you all." Bucky said 

"Yeah well it won't be the same..thanks for dinner." Clint said as he and Bobbi left. 

Cassidy stood up and began to clean up the table as tears welled.

"CJ.." Nat said as she walked out of the dining room. 

"I hope one day you all realize that you all were wrong." Bucky said as they all started to leave their house. Bucky slammed the door and helped Cassidy clean up. 

"I tried baby." He said as he held her waist. 

She smiled at him. "I love you James.." she whispered 

He smiled at her as he wiped her stray tear. "I love you my doll face." He whispered as they shared a kiss. 

"Let's go upstairs and enjoy that tub." He said as he picked her up bridal style.
