Hello everyone! I am ecstatic to say that this story has almost hit 100,000 reads!! I started writing this story when I was 14, I completed it on Wattpad when I was 15, and now I'm 19 years old. Needless to say, it has been a very long time since I first wrote it. I haven't written fanfiction in years now, but I was recently reminded of the fact that I wrote this fic and I decided to reread it. I actually loved it; reading it again brought back so many good memories from writing it. I still like a lot of the decisions I made for the characters and the narrative but I think if I had the choice to change some things, I would. So... I decided I'm going to! I think doing a full renovation to this story would be a fun celebration of 100k reads!
I'm going to fix general errors, make a few changes to the plot, edit some character inconsistencies, and add a new chapter every so often to remedy some of the narrative issues that are pretty prevelent in certain parts of the story! Also, I'm going to add a few special chapters to explore Hikaru as a character more. The thing I'm the most excited for is writing a special reunion chapter for the characters that will take place after the original ending of the story! This last special chapters will act as a little bonus, to say thank you for all of the love that you lovely readers have shown this story over the years.
So, please bare with me through the renovations, they will take some time to complete! I will be posting them chapter by chapter to replace the ones that are already here. Once everything is done, I will remove this author's note. The new chapters will have an * at the beginning of the chapter title to indicate that they have been reposted. Thus, if this is your first time reading this story, it might be a little weird jumping from the new chapters to the old ones. Also, if you love this story the way it is now, I will be posting a second copy of this fic on this profile with the exact original story on it once the renovations are complete!
TLDR; I'm renovating this entire story, it's gonna be a little whack for a while :)
