The newly engaged couple took a stroll around the lake that afternoon. Jin Ah stared at her ring for most of their walk and would be giddy when she looked up at Ji Sung. "I love it. I love it so much!"

He was happy about her reaction and couldn't help but tease her. "You seem to love it more than me."

"Oh, I love you, too. But this ring..."

Ji Sung rolled his eyes. Jin Ah was holding her hand up now with the lake she loved since childhood as the backdrop.

"Engaged to Min Tae Gu. Loved by Hwang Ji Sung. This ring will constantly remind me that dreams do come true," she sighed, wistfully.

Ji Sung couldn't help but snap a photo. It would definitely be framed in their home. Kissing her forehead, he whispered, "I love you. Are you really happy, Jin-ssi?"

She looked at him, her eyes twinkling. "Yes! I can't even tell you how much."

A couple of days later, they were finally on their way back to Seoul. They loved the time they spent with her parents. In the two days that they had been engaged, they already discussed that they did not want a grand wedding. A few close friends and family members were enough for their guest list. Also, they did not want a long engagement.

There were still some things to work out but they knew they were ready to marry anytime.

"Jin-ssi, I just want you to know, I don't want you to feel rushed just because I have to keep travelling back to LA. I know you have a lot of things you want to do with your career so if you want to wait a bit, I understand," Ji Sung assured.

"I can fulfill my dreams and be married to you," Jin Ah said in return. "But... until we settle your living arrangements, can we hold off on having a baby?"

He agreed. Ji Sung did not want to be an absentee father as well and there was too many things going with their lives currently that he didn't want their child to feel like he or she would be a burden to them. He may not have had a great relationship with his father, but when he becomes one, he wants to be the best.

After they returned the rental car that Ji Sung was using, he joined her in the vehicle she drove to Daegu and took over driving for them.

Jin Ah kept staring at him like she was still that fan dreaming about Min Tae Gu dedicating a song for her during fan events. "After all the bad dates and guys who didn't give me any attention, I would end up with you."

He gave her a sideways look. "You don't seem too thrilled."

She giggled. "I am! Wasn't it obvious? I didn't even let you ask your question and I already said yes."

He took her hand and kissed the back of it. "I know. I'm glad it was a positive response."

"Did you really think I'd say no?" She asked, disbelieving that he truly thought she would reject him.

"I told you I have a complicated life."

"What life  isn't?! Stop saying that as if all the evil in the world is your fault. You know I don't like it," Jin Ah reprimanded.  "This it is, Ji Sung. I'm not kidding. You and me."

He smiled. "You and me."

When they finally arrived at the loft, Jin Ah thought Ji Sung would just want to rest. Much to her surprise, he pulled her close and gave her a kiss that took her breath away.

"Finally," he whispered when they parted for air. "I love your parents but not being able to do that was torture."

Jin Ah giggled. "I told you we could have done something. I could have been quiet."
