Mortals Meet Demigods

Lou Ellen POV

"Hey guys what do you think about the demigods?" asked my friend John.

It was after school and we were just talking in the parking lot.

"They're awesome!" said Macy

"I mean think about it! They go around saving the world from monsters!" she continued excitedly

"What do you think Lou?" asked John

"They're pretty cool I guess" I told them

"Cool? That's it! I would kill to meet one of them!" Shouted Macy

I chuckled. Oh how little did she know.

Suddenly, a sound of an explosion startled the three of us.

On hades naw!

It was my idiotic boyfriend, Connor.

His car was on fire and he was fighting a hellhound.

Oh well, it was his moms car.

I better go help him.

I turned around to see my friends looking at him in awe.

Come to think of it he did look pretty hot- wait what am I thinking! I should be helping him! Not ogling at him!

Curse his good looks! Don't tell him I said that, it would probably boost his ego.

I ran towards him.

"Lou!" screamed John

"What are you thinking!" shouted Macy

"Do you gave a death wish? Get back here!" They screamed in unison.

I tapped my charm bracelet and it turned into two daggers.

I charged at the hellhound.

"Hey Stoll" I greeted, grunting the hellhound swatted me to the side but I managed not to fall.

"Sup Lou" he said dodging its paw

In five minutes the hellhound was reduced to monster dust.

Connor crushed me in a bear hug an picked duo spinning me around.

When he stopped we leaned in and closed the gap between us.

When we pulled away I looked at my friends.

"Uh hi" I said

"You're a demigod!!!" They shouted

"Yeah" I replied

"This is my boyfriend Connor" I told them

"I can't believe my best friend is a demigod" muttered Macy, still not letting it sink in.

I chuckled nervously "Yeah, about that I'm sorry. Look I've got to go back to camp now" I told them

They gave me a huge hug each.

"Stay safe" said John

"I'll try" I replied

Connor placed is arm around my shoulder and we started our long walk back to camp.
