Thalia's POV

I hate high school. Artemis thought that it would be a good idea for me to get an education. Apparently she wants her best hunter educated properly. She also wanted me to recruit more hunters. Doesn't she know that high school is where all the girls started dating? So here I am walking into high school.

The moment I stepped through the doors, the boys wolf-whistled. I gave them my signature glare. I made my way to the office and asked the lady there who looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there and was chewing gum

"Hi I'm new here can I have my schedule?"

"Name"she asked bored

"Thalia"

"Last name?"

"I don't use it." I snapped

"I can't get you your schedule if you don't tell me what it is."she shot back

"Grace" I said putting as much hatred and venom as possible into that one word.

"What"she asked

" I said it once I'm not going to say it again" I said giving her a deathly glare that would make anyone pee themselves. She flinched so hard she dropped her papers. She hastily began to pick it up. I had to suppress a laugh.

"Here you go"she said handing me my stuff

""There's a tour guide waiting for you outside. Her names Rose."

"Now get out of my sight" with that she pushed me out of the room.

As I walked away a girl with brown hair and blue eyes walked up to me " Hi, my names Rose. You must be Thalia. I'm your tour guide."

"Hello" I said trying to be nice.

"You can drop the act I know you're not one to be nice. Don't worry I have a friend like you but she isn't punk" I looked at her amazed no one could tell that I was punk they always thought I was emo and I seriously hated them for it.

"What"she asked

"It's just that no one could tell that I'm punk they always thought I'm emo. I like you. I think that we'll be good friends. She smiled at me. After that she told me where my locker was and we found of that we had the same schedule so I'll just follow her for the rest of the day. Suddenly, a guy with brown hair and blue eyes walked up to me and said

"Hey babe, you wanna go out tonight?"

"No" I answered

"Come on babe I know you want to."

"No"

"I know you're playing hard to get"

"I'm giving you five seconds to get out of my sight before I hurt you."

"You wouldn't hurt me babe" he said cockily. Right after he said it I judo-flipped him.

"Ow"he moaned

"Told you so" I said and walked away with Rose.

"His name is Justin he's a player."

"I can tell"

""Do you have a boyfriend "

"Oh hades no don't have one and don't plan to get one!" I exclaimed disgusted

"Me too" Yes! New hunter!

"So can I talk to you after school? "

"Sure"

TIME LAPSE TO GYM

"Okay class we are going to play dodgeball today. Now pick your teams." When me and arose were picking our teams, there was a loud explosion and Laistrigonian Giants burst through the walls. The mortals started going crazy.

"Don't play without us." Said one of them. They started to throw cannonballs everywhere, that's when they saw me

"Thalia Grace" they roared "Come fight us or DIE!!!"

"You asked for it" I said. I got my shield and spear out and charged them. They were dead in no time.

"Who are you" asked a mortal

"I am Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus king of the gods, lord of the skies, I am the lieutenant of Artemis goddess of the moon and the hunt. I am a survivor of the second Titan and Giant wars." Everyone was stunned. Well it was now or never.

"Hey Rose, wanna join the hunters?"

"Sure"

"Well come on then, our lady is waiting."

With that we walked out of the school and never came back.
