Italics- Lydia's voices

Lydia

Lydia was walking down the bright hallways of an apartment and knocked on the door. "Wedding day!" She exclaimed, holding up dresses in a bag. "We're not getting married," Laurel pointed out, letting her in. "But it's John and Lyla... round two," she smiled.

She slipped into the rose-red, off shouldered dress and put her hair in a braided crown with small flowers in it. "How do I look?" Lydia asked, twirling. "Perfect. What about me?" Laurel asked. "Orange suits you." Lydia watched as she slipped on a cast and laughed, "Did I hurt you that much?" "Snapping my wrist? Yes." "It's starting soon," Lydia said, applying blush on her cheeks and lipstick, "Let's go."

The two entered a brightly lit white building and saw chairs perfectly lined up. Flowers and drapes decorated the room to the altar in the middle.

"Hi John," Laurel greeted giving him a hug. From the corner of Lydia's eye, she saw Oliver in a fresh suit and a small flower in his jacket pocket, walk in. "Hey," he whispered, kissing her on the cheek, "You look great." "You too."

"What happened to your arm?" He asked Laurel and everyone's attention switched to her. "My trainer is... enthusiastic," she eyed Lydia. "Congratulations John!" Felicity exclaimed, closing in the group. "I just finally closed the car," a familiar voice spoke. Lydia saw Ray walk in and stand behind Felicity.

"Hi everyone," he smiled, leaning back and forth. "Lyla," Diggle said, holding his phone next to his ear. He sighed, putting it in his pocket, "The minister was called for duty on the field." "Ray is ordained," Felicity pitched and everyone looked up at him. "Really?" Oliver asked. "Long story," he said quickly. "We're starting now," Diggle said, nodding at them.

Lydia sat at the edge with Laurel sitting next to her, then Felicity. Thea and Roy snuck in and sat a row behind them. The slow melody came on the speakers and Oliver and the maid of honor began to walk down the hallway. She caught his glance as he walked passed her and she smiled to herself. The small, babbling Sarah began to stumble down the aisle, tossing petals and was later carried by the maid of honor.

Everyone stood up when the double doors in the back opened and Lyla in a white dress slowly took a step forward. When she reached the alter and Diggle took her hands, they sat down. "It's a great honor to officiate John Diggle and Lyla Michaels," Ray began, muttering a few words under his breath, "You two may start your vows."

Lydia was off in her own world, muffling out Diggle's speech. She wandered her eyes around the room, watching the decorations and Lyla's detailed dress. Watching someone else get married brought joy to her; She wanted the same thing.

"Someone's staring," Thea whispered in her ear and she snapped out of her thoughts. Laurel made a slight nudge in her elbow and she and Oliver made eye contact. "I love you," he mouthed and she let out a small chuckle, wiping her tear. "I love you too." "If you guys keep staring, I'm going to cry," Felicity whispered and she exhaled.

"You may now kiss the bride," Ray said, opening his arms. Diggle pulled Lyla in for a kiss and everyone began to clap.

The guests were led into a separate area where light bulbs were hanging in the air for the reception. Lyla stood in the front and all of the women crowded behind her as she tossed her bouquet. Lydia held up her arm and felt the bunch of flowers, tangle in her fingers. She looked down and narrowed her eyes with a confused frown and Felicity, Laurel, and Thea started shrieking.
