Dear diary.
Mum took me to the pool for swimming lessons today. See, I told Lucy 'we'll see' means yes.
I learned how to do that thing in water where you stay in one spot and it looks like you're not moving but you don't sink. I forgot what its called though.
I like swimming under water. Maybe I could be a diver! I could swim in the sea and look at sharks, maybe I could look for shipwrecks under the ocean and look for treasure and get really rich. Maybe then we'd have enough money to fix my ears and mums voice.
I'd like to fix mums voice.
Being a doctor would be hard. I don't want to be a doctor because Lucy's Dad is a doctor and all he ever talks about is the hospital like he doesn't even know the world exists outside of the hospital. Sometimes he complains that someone he was looking after died and he felt bad about it.
I don't know why, they were going to die eventually.
That sounds mean. I shouldn't say that.
Danny is coming over tomorrow. I'll write again then, she's going to tell me about her new friend and her secret. I'm really excited.
