"Thank you" Darren said wiping his tears from his eyes. Olivia simply nodded not knowing what to say.
"I'm sorry I should have let you say it I- I just- it would have been to much" Darren cried.
"Hey hey hey No!" Olivia said hugging Darren. "No need to be sorry. This is hard for both of us to do." Olivia chocked out.
Being this close to Darren again was torture for Olivia. Feeling his body heat. Just feeling his skin on hers. She missed it. She knows she shouldn't. She's with Chord now. Chord makes her happy. Not Darren. Darren hurt her.
Olivia quickly pulled away with an awkward cough and wiped her tears. She knew neither her or Darren had hit their breaking point yet. And she knows exactly when they will. They were crying now because of the happy memories. Soon they would be crying because of the bad ones. She wasn't ready for that.
