Eddie finally made it to school and greeted all the losers - except for Mike, since he was homeschooled - before heading inside with them.

They each separated and Bill, Stan, and Eddie planned to meet each other at the door of their math class, since they shared first period together.

Eddie arrived at the door of the math class and he could have sworn he saw both Bill and Stan blush when their hands brushed together as they tried to enter the classroom at the same time.

Eddie loves his first period, not only did he get to share it with Bill and Stan, but he also got to share it with Matthew Carrols.

Eddie has had a crush on Matthew since freshman year. He knew that Matthew wasn't interested in guys, but he couldn't help fall for his light skin, his wavy brown hair, his silver-blue eyes, or his smile that could brighten anyone's day.

He also couldn't help but fall for the fact that Matthew never made fun of Eddie or gave him strange looks because he was gay. He loved the fact that Matthew was so kind to anyone, he was so perf-

"Okay, students." His math teacher, Mr. Berman, had entered the room and started teaching.

"I hope you've done your homework for the weekend, but that is not for until later. We have a new assignment in which you will work in duos for." There were some cheers and some groans around the class.

"I will be picking your partners for you, so don't get too excited" All the voices that were once cheers had now turned into groans of disappointment.

Mr. Berman started to say the names of people who would be teaming up for the project.

Eddie sighed as he looked to his right. Matthew was sat beside him and looked over to Eddie and smiled. Eddie's stomach filled with butterflies and his cheeks went a light rosy colour.

He looked behind him to see Stan drawing a random bird, and then looked over at Bill, who was sitting on Stan's right. He saw a smile and a look of deep admiration and a light blush on Bill's face as he looked at Stan.

Eddie's attention was shot back to the teacher when he heard his name. "Eddie Kaspbrak and Matthew Carrols, you will be teaming up for the project"

Eddie looked over at Matthew who was already staring at Eddie. "So I guess we're partners, huh?" Matthew spoke up, "meet me outside the classroom door after the bell and we can exchange numbers?"

Eddie nodded as his mouth hung slightly open. He could feel his heart beating faster. Eddie and Matthew would get to spend lots of time together and he couldn't help but blush at the fact.

"Bill Denbrough and Stanley Uris, you will be partners,". Eddie was too caught up in staring at Matthew to notice Bill and Stan exchange glances with big smiles and blushed faces.

The bell had just rung for the end of first period. Eddie gathered his stuff and went outside and waited by the door for Matthew.

"Hey Eds!" Eddie turned his head around to see Matthew standing beside him.

Matthew liked to call Eddie 'Eds' and Eddie kind of liked it.

"Hi" Eddie replied with a smile. "So, for math, you wanna, you know, have my number so we can, uh, contact each other?" Matthew said.

"Sure, yeah! You wanna put your number in my phone?" Eddie says as he takes his phone out from his backpack.

"Yeah, of course!" Matthew says as Eddie hands him his phone. Eddie watches as Matthew enters his number, and then his contact name into his phone and hands it back to him with a smile.

"Text me when you get home today, see ya, Eddie!" Matthew says and waved as he heads to his next class.

Eddie gives a small wave and looks down at his phone to see that Matthew put his contact name as

Eddie puts his phone back as he heads to his next class with a smile on his face.

Eddie's smile suddenly drops when he remembers who he has his second period with.
