Merlin looked up at his friends and opened his mouth, but was silenced when Arthur gave him a passionate kiss. Merlin returned it and after a whistle of Gwaine they broke apart. Their checks flushed red. Then the others ran to Merlin and hugged him tightly.
"Guys, can't breath." Merlin said and everyone let go, they all laughed.
"How? Your heart stopped beating, you were dead!" Arthur asked, eager to hear how Merlin was still alive.
"Well... I guess that I was dead. But, I can't die, I'm Emrys, I'm immortal."
"You have to tell us everything what happened when you were 'dead'." Gwaine hoped for a good story to tell at the tavern. And so, Merlin began, telling about the lake, and Freya. When he was done they all looked in awe at him.
"And what happened to you, guys?" Merlin then asked and everybody started talking.
"Calm down, one at a time!" They looked around to who should talk, so, then Gwaine started talking. He explained everything and they laughed at how he told them how Arthur was pleading others to help him, how he cried and suddenly fell down. He then told Merlin about the elder and how when they entered they all passed out.
"Wait, I can't really remember what happened after that?" Lancelot asked.
"I remember waking up in a bed and a man dressed in white standing next to it." Arthur told them.
"And then, the man said 'Good morning.' "Leon then said.
"Yeah, and then their eyes turned golden and I just followed him until we all came here." Elyan finished.
"Bhāla, āpanāra mastiṣka kṣatigrastha haẏa nā. Āpanākē chiṭakē dē'ōẏāra jan'ya āmi duḥkhita, kintu āmarā yadi tā nā kari tabē āpani āmādēra pathē dām̐ṛiẏē thākatēna. Ēchāṛā'ō, āpanāra biśrāmēra darakāra chila." (Good, your brains aren't damaged. I'm sorry for knocking you out, but if we didn't you would be standing in our way. Besides, you needed your rest.) The elder said, appearing in the doorway.
"Ēbaṁ phirē sbāgata jānā'i." (And welcome back.) The elder smiled, turning his gaze towards Merlin.
