Lilly's pov

I had been out of hospital for two months and life was slowly going back to normal. We were finishing up Easter exams and spending our last few months in hogwarts. Mothers trial is this weekend and we are all going, I am to speak and the others will be in the stands. Harry is part of the jury.

"Hello lovely" Harry said, approaching me as I studied in the library "Hiya" I said, brushing his hair out of the way of his eyes "you need that cut" I said with a laugh, he only smirked. "How are you feeling?" He asked "About what?" I asked "you know what" he said, I only looked at him "I'm fine, I have my statement prepared. After the jury hear this they will not only consider to change how they feel towards us but also how they need to change the ministry" I said

"what do you mean?" He asked "the ministry is corrupt Harry, what Kingsley done to my family was spiteful and because he was bored. They have too much power" I said "Can I read it?" He asked, I pulled it towards me "You'll year it with everyone else" I said, he smirked "Oh someone's being serious about this" he said "you best believe I am" I said, kissing him before getting up, I felt his eyes watching me "Either follow me potter or get your eyes back in that book" I said with a grin as I turned around, he jumped up and chased me.

Saturday came quicker than I thought it would, dressed in red with my best cloak on i walked down the narrow hall way to the court room I had been in far too many times. "miss Malfoy, it's nice to see you" Kingsley said, shaking my hand at the door "Your mother is just over there if you'd like a few words before we started" he said, I nodded and me and Draco walked over to where my mother was hand cuffed

"Hello my dears" she said as we approached, we hugged her tightly and sat down "Who's speaking?" She questioned "I am" I said, showing her my speech "I'm going to tell them what it really means to be a Malfoy mother, I'm going to show them we are good....no matter the outcome of today" I said, "I know you will" she said, grabbing mine and dracos hands "You both already are". We smiled before parting ways, I walked towards the stand while draco sat down. My eyes met Harry's and he nodded, I nodded back before sitting down

"Today, we are going to be deciding the fate of Mrs Narcissa Malfoy, before your descion is made we would like to ask miss lily Malfoy to speak" Kingsley said, I looked at my notes and took a deep breath "Good morning Minister, member of the jury. My name is Lily Malfoy, many of you may remember me from my fathers court date. Today is not about proving my mother's innocence though, today is too prove the innocence of the entire black and Malfoy bloodlines!" I said, my voice filled with confidence "For years you all have feared us, feared the 'power' we had. You claimed we all are born evil, this is a lie. You have hunted us down, you're slowly picking us off one by one. This isn't fair!" I explained "I fought alongside many of you in the war, turned my back on my family to do so, just like many other of my relatives. My 2nd cousin Sirius Black comes into mind, you wrongly charged him as well due to his blood, you never let him speak....he was an innocent man who was just as heart broke as many of you that same day, the same day Harry Potter was left with out his parents" I said, my eyes meeting Harry's and his eyes were teary but he smiled

"Kingsley, I took a curse for you! I nearly died and yet although the bitterness is clear between us, I can see the way you look at my mother. With pure disgust as if she was Voldemort herself!" I hissed "Your system is corrupt! You need to think, you need to be fair, we need a ministry that we can trust! Jury that will be honest with their choices......I don't want to go on and work here just to see that it hasn't changed....My mother is a wonderful women, instead of judging her by her blood, judge her by the person she is. She followed my father to protect me and my brother, if she had left I can assure you now me and Draco would be dead! She helped me accept my house and the person I was, she gave up her dreams to keep us safe. Her blood doesn't make her evil, so don't judge her by it!" I finished, my eyes glued to Kingsley as he looked around, many of the jury were whispering and taking notes down.

"M-miss Malfoy, please take your seat again" Kingsley said, I nodded and sat down. The jury spoke and then reported to Kingsley who looked shocked, I looked over at Draco who had a concerned look on his face "don't they usually shoot the colour into the air? What's with all the talking?" I heard Ginny ask draco "I don't know..." he whispered back "The jury have all came to one decision" Harry said, his voice loud

"Mrs Narcissa Malfoy is to go free, too enjoy the rest of her life with her children and finally be free from any nightmares from the last!" He shouted, I shouted in glee. Running at Draco and my mother, we collapsed in a pile on the floor, holding onto one another tightly. "You done it, your father would be proud" my mother whispered in my ear, causing me too cry harder. I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was Harry. I dived into his arms and he wrapped them round me tightly "You are amazing!" He said, pulling away "you never seize to amaze me" he said. I smiled as my cheeks became red

"Potter.." my mother said, standing up. I moved out of her way and she took his hands as is good with a smile on my face "You seem to make my daughter very happy" she began "I would just like to apologise for any hatred giving in the last, you have helped my daughter for 7 years and today you helped me. I will forever be grateful for that" she said, he only smiled and took her aside. I was in too much of a blur to notice.

The only thing I noticed was the ginger hair of my best friend diving at me "You done it!" She squealed, hugging me tightly "I'm so proud of you!" She cried, I smiled and held her tighter. Harry walking back over "Let's go home" he said, I nodded with a smile and we made our way back to hogwarts.

"What a day" Ginny said as we collapsed onto the sofa in the common room "I'm exhausted" I whined, snuggling into Harry "Don't fall asleep yet, why don't we go on a broom ride?" He asked "Sure" I said with a smile. We grabbed our brooms and made our for the courtyear "I'll race you to the black lake" he said, I grinned "your on!" I said, jumping up. He followed close behind but I beat him "You would think the seeker of our team would be able to outfly a chaser" I said with a sly grin "Oh stop" he said, my eyes met his and I grinned "Make me" I replied, a sly grin on his face as he began chasing me, we ran and ran until he got me and put me on his shoulder "Harry!!" I cried as he ran towards the water "Don't you dare!" I squealed but it was too late, I was drenched as I climbed out of the water.

He stood laughing "I'll get you back for that!" I said running at him "I know you will" he said, I only smiled "Oh potter" I said, my hands wrapping round him "I love you Harry Potter" I said with a grin, he looked at me with big eyes "I love you Lilly.....Potter?" He finished, falling to one knee.
