CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN

AUTHOR'S POV -

The match has already begun, England is batting first and they are going pretty strong with their game. Rinda has also come for the match and Suhana keeps looking at Iya to ask her what to do next and Iya is tired of telling her to wait for the match to get over. 

Another batsman is out and its Tom's turn now to go score some runs. Anvi and Marissa cheer for him as he goes down. 

"This one is for you" Anvi says. 

"What?" Marissa asked. 

"This knock is for you." Anvi repeated. 

"Who said?" Marissa asked and laughed. 

"Tom, the man himself." Anvi said. 

"Really? He did not tell me." Marissa said. 

"I am his messenger you honor." Anvi said playfully. 

"Tell him to tell this to me in person if he has the guts to do that." Marissa joked. 

"Open challenge ha?" Anvi asked. 

"Yes." Marissa said. 

"Wait." Anvi said. 

"What are you doing?" Marissa asked as Anvi cleared her throat and leaned on the balcony. 

"No no no you are not screaming." Marissa said and pulled her back. 

"I need to convey your open challenge." Anvi said. 

"Later, he wont be able to hear you in this noise." Marissa said. 

"I am loud enough, are you challenging me?" Anvi asked. 

"No no my god just stand still." Marissa said. 

"Okay okay fine." Anvi said. 

"Thank god, I thought you will actually scream." Marissa sighed. 

"By the ways I accept the open challenge on behalf of him." Anvi said. 

"Really?" Marissa asked.

"Wait and watch." Anvi said. 

"What do you mean by that?" Marissa asked. 

"Enjoy the match." Anvi said and left Marissa pondering. 

Tom was planning to hit big in this match, he wanted to dedicate it to Marissa as he was proposing her today. He looked up where Anvi and Marissa were standing, Shubman noticed him looking up so he looked behind to see where he was looking and found Anvi standing there. He then looked back at Tom who had his eyes fixed over there, Shubman got yet another shock when Anvi looked down toward Tom and gave him a thumbs up to which Tom blinked his eyes. Anvi also pointed towards Marissa and did a heart and Tom had a tinge of red on his face, Shubman saw the light blush on Tom's face and it was enough to get him wonder if about the fact that they were together. 

Tom was batting in full swing and soon reached his half century, by the end of the 20 overs the England team was successful in making a good 250 runs, it was a high target for the Indian Cricket Team, but the Indian Cricket team is no less. 

As Tom came up Anvi winked at him, Shubman who saw this wondered what it meant. 

Mean while Tom walked closer to Anvi and Marissa and whispered in Marissa's ear "This one was for you." and he left. 

"Woah! How did he come to know?" Marissa asked Anvi who was beside her all this while. 

"Its his messenger your honour." Anvi dramatically said as the both of them went to get some water.
