CHAPTER FORTY ONE

NEXT DAY - 

AUTHOR'S POV -

Today is the second T20, of the India Vs. England T20 series. Virat told Abhishek and Iya to keep the plan on low, until the final match day which was when they were planning to execute the plan.

They leave for the stadium at around 3 and start practicing, Shubman kept getting distracted by Anvi, she was just sitting in the dug out and watching the practice, but that also distracted him. 

Finally it was the time for toss and both the team captains, Rohit and Ben came down for the toss. (A/N - I DONT KNOW IF I MENTIONED BEFORE BUT I MADE ROHIT AND BEN STOKES THE CAPTAIN NOW CAUSE ITS A TEN YEAR LEAP SO I THOUGHT TO HAVE A CHANGE IN CAPTAINS,  AND YES MSD IS THE COACH, I TOLD THAT BEFORE) 

England won the toss and decided to bowl first. 

As Ben entered the dressing room, Anvi started giving her usual pep talk. 

"You guys can do it, just be confident. They are the best in T20 but that does not mean that you guys are not good enough, if you have faith in yourself then anything is possible. So guys, keep your team game up and high, trust yourself and all the best." Anvi said. 

Shubman was going back to the dressing room when he heard Anvi's voice and he saw her pep talking to the team since the door was not closed properly. 

"You support another team now?" he asked himself forgetting the fact that she is their psychologist. He walks away, hurt thinking that she does not support Team India too. 

The match started off well for Team India, Shikhar and Rohit made a 50 run partnership when Shikhar got clean bowled by Archer, Rohit on the very next ball got stumped and now Virat and Shubman were on the crease. 

Shubman had some fire burning inside him, he wanted to show Anvi that team India is the best and moreover that his performance will not be affected by her. 

Anvi on the other hand was happy seeing Shubman back in form, she supported India as much as she supported England or even more. She was cheering for both of them happily. 

Shubman hit a for a four and ran but Ben caught it and threw it to Tom who quickly stumped it. Virat knew that Shubman reached before Tom stumped so he discussed with Shubman and asked for a review. 

Anvi closed her eyes to pray for Shubman, he was close to his fifty, she did not want him to get out, no matter what she still loved him. Shubman saw this and thought that she must be praying for Tom, obviously he is her boyfriend. 

The umpire signals a not out and Shubman jumps out of joy wherease Tom had a look of defeat on his face. Anvi saw both of this, she was happy for Shubman but felt that Tom lost his confidence and she had to do something. 

The 20 overs got over and Team India had made a whooping 250 runs out of which a century was made by Shubman. Tom was quiet very much in a bad mood since after Shubman he also missed Virat and Rahul's stumping. 

Anvi is standing at the stairs itself, she saw Tom and called him. 

"Tom." she said and she attracted not only Tom's but also Shubman's attention. 

"Ya tell Anvi." Tom said with an uninterested tone, he was upset because of his performance. 

"Come with me." Anvi said and pulled him along with her, Shubman saw this and felt a pang of jealousy and followed them. 

"Look." Anvi said bringing him to the balcony. 

"What?" Tom asked. 

"You see those group of people there?" Anvi asked.
