glasses

Jade absolutely hates her glasses. They make her eyes far bigger than they actually are, they hurt her nose, and Jade just finds them downright ugly. Not to mention her glasses made her take the brunt of far too many jokes and bullying in her school years. Naturally, this conditioned Jade to wear her glasses as little as possible. Jade relied heavily on her day to day contacts, so much so that her own girlfriend of three years never knew that her eyesight was worse for wear.

So naturally, Perrie got really excited when her girlfriend came down the stairs of their shared house with a pair of large glasses perched on her nose. She looked absolutely adorable to Perrie, however the only thing wrong was the scowl Jade had on her face.

"Don't say anything." Jade murmured, passing Perrie quickly and ducking into the kitchen in order to make some toast. Confused, Perrie follows quickly behind her girlfriend.

"What do you mean babe?" Perrie asked, being careful to keep a decent distance between the two of them, knowing that Jade doesn't like to be crowded when she's frustrated, especially if she's frustrated with Perrie.

Jade continued to search around their kitchen for bread, only to realize that she had forgotten to stop at the grocery store on her way home last night. Jade groaned, taking a break her search and leaning against the counter.

"Don't say anything about the monstrosity on my face, I'm having a bad enough day as it is," Jade said, "I know they're ugly, but I ran out of contacts" Perrie's heart broke at what Jade said.

"Jade, you can't possibly think that your glasses make you look anything short of absolutely adorable." Jade gave Perrie a pointed look.

"Don't lie to me, I know I look terrible," Jade said, refusing to make eye contact with the blonde. Perrie closed the distance between them and put her finger underneath Jade's chin, forcing her to look at Perrie.

"Jade, I have no idea who put that absurd idea in your head, but they are absolutely incorrect." Perrie said, looking directly into her eyes. Jade shook her head and moved away from Perrie's grasp, not giving up on her search for a suitable breakfast.

"Perrie, you're my girlfriend, and therefore obligated to say things like that," Jade said, digging through the cupboards to find a pack of instant oatmeal, "Plenty of people have told me the opposite so it's not like I completely believe you."

"Um excuse me," Perrie snorted, "I don't care what other people think, because I happen to think that you are single handedly the most beautiful human to ever walk the Earth." Perrie followed Jade to her spot by the microwave, where she was angrily attempting to pour the right amount of water into the bowl for her oatmeal. Perrie wrapped her arms around Jade's waist and rested her chin on the smaller girl's shoulder.

"Baba I thought you didn't oatmeal," Perrie murmured into her girlfriend's ear.

"I don't," Jade stated simply, "It's the only thing we have right now and I'm hungry." Perrie gave Jade a soft kiss behind her ear.

"I'll go to the store later, but first you really do need to realize you somehow look incredibly adorable and irresistibly hot simultaneously, and it'st very confusing." Perrie said directly into Jade's ear, her hot breath tickling Jade slightly.

"My glasses turn you on?"

"Well, I cant say the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw you walking down the stairs was a clean thought," Perrie muttered, her hands slowly making their way under Jade's t shirt, gliding up and down Jade's stomach.

"Is that so?" the brunette asked with a raised eyebrow, "My my Ms. Edwards, if I knew you had a glasses kink, I would have considered wearing them earlier,"

"Oh really, it didn't sound like you were too thrilled to be wearing them a second ago," Perrie dropped her voice to a whisper, "But if you're still looking for something to eat other than oatmeal I have a few ideas," Jade's face broke out into a smirk and turned her head to face her younger girlfriend.

"I might have to take you up on that offer."

AN: Super short, I know but I'm working on a whole new story to post in full once I finish mistakes so my main focus has sort of been ironing out that and finishing up mistakes.

Anyway, hope you're all doing well, stay safe and wash your hands!
