I stepped out of the truck, wearing black leggings and a forest green t-shirt. I was ushered in by Atticus, Alex and Marcus, while the others went to another place; I had no idea where they rushed to after they parked the truck.

We had to take a walk through a slightly forested area full of greenery. I was getting more confused each step I took, but I remained silent. I wasn't in the mood to ask questions. I had a lot on my mind.

It seemed that I was always in some sort of mental conflict. Of course it was natural, with all of the stress and trauma life was throwing at me. I didn't think that life was ever going to slow down for me. A part of me loved adventure and excitement and helping others. I could do without the villains trying to kill me and the constant thought that I was unloved.

I think all of it stemmed from my childhood and how I thought that my parents left me. After that, every small thing set me off. If you were gone for an hour at the grocery store, my imagination ran wild and I assumed you left me for the wolves to eat. That was something I would have to work on.

I had a family, an odd one, but a family none the less. And I had Atticus. There was still so much to settle, but we would get there. For now, I had to survive the battle with Union.

I suddenly walked into someone's back, smashing my nose painfully. "Ouch!" I gasped. I took a step back and my hand reached up to my face, caressing my nose. I looked up to see Marcus looking over his shoulder at me. "We're here."

One by one, the men lowered them selves into a hole in the ground. Atticus went before me and as soon as he was in, I peered in. It was dark and musty and not appealing.

Atticus reached up for me. The drop was about five feet and there was small puddles on the damp floor. The trees were very thick, so the hole was mostly concealed by shrubbery. Being the shortest, the jump was harder for me. I grabbed Atticus' hand and sunk into the hole. He immediately wrapped his arms around my torso, to steady me. My feet hadn't even touched the ground yet.

Of course I could've have floated down, but I'd rather have those strong arms around me. I couldn't help but blush when I felt his eyes bore into mine with such intensity. "Come on." Was all he said.

We hurried down that dark, musty passage way to catch up with the others. The walls, ceiling and floor was dirt, but with wooden planks for support. At the end of the hallway, there was yet another hole, but with a ladder leading down.

Atticus and I were holding up the rear of the group, so we had a but of privacy to ourselves. He took advantage to it.

"How's New York?" He asked, a bit awkwardly. His attempt made me smile. I put one foot after the other and climbed down the ladder. There were torches along the walls, for some light. I almost forgot that I was being lead somewhere.

"It's a lovely city. You should have seen the house I was living in." I replied, my hands beginning to sweat. The metal was cold against my hands and I was loosing grip. But lucky for me, I reached the bottom.

"I'd like to hear about-" Atticus began, stepping away from the ladder, right behind me. But he was cut off by Alex. "There you two are. Come on, they're excited to see you Ari." Alex and Marcus were standing in front of a large wooden door. Alex took out a key and unlocked the door then he pushed it open. I walked in behind them and my jaw instantly dropped.

Before us, was a large opening, with a high ceiling. We were in some sort of cave and the ceiling had dripping stalactites. We were standing on a sort of ledge, with a metal railing. Below us were thousands of people gathered. I was lead down the ledge path, towards the centre of the cave. We were at least twenty of feat above the ground.

In the cave, the voices of the people below us echoed loudly. I had more and more questions in my head that I didn't yet voice. I knew they would be answered soon. I had gathered patience over these long months. I no longer longed for my questions answered immediately, because I began to loathe the answers.

Zaine called to us, over the noise of the crowd. He was down the ledge about 50 feet. We all walked down to meet him and he pulled an arm around my waist.

"We're done running Arianna. I know you feel that too. We are here to fight, to end Union. These people are Mythicals who want to help us- help you. And they want Union dead." Zaine's voice was strong and clear. I let my eyes roam the crowd, seeing all sorts of people. They all came to help.

"They want to hear from you. You escaped Union and you're an inspiration to them. Give a speech to lead them into battle." Zaine further explained. I nodded slowly, though I had no idea what I would tell these people. I didn't see myself as any sort of inspiration. I was just me, plain old Arianna.

Zaine let his arm fall and he nudged me closer towards the railing, where I could be better seen by the crowd. Alex stepped up behind me and whistled loudly, and the noise carried through the cave. The crowd hushed to a murmur.

"Thank you all for waiting. I'd like to introduce to you, Arianna Lockwood." Zaine boomed from behind me. He called me Lockwood, not Sinclair. I couldn't help but smile. My name sounded better that way anyways.

I waved and the crowd cheered. I felt like some sort of pop star. I had no idea what they thought I did, but I was certainly flattered.

"I'm Arianna, though you all know that by now," I awkwardly started. I held the bottom hem of my shirt and I fiddled with it as the crowd stared up at me expectingly. There seemed to be people there varying in age and certainly in appearance.

"Just 6 months ago, I had no idea about who I was. I lived as though I was a human for my whole life and suddenly, I was thrown into a life of Mythical beings. Then I discovered that my parents were the well known Sinclair's. Do you all know of them?" I had no idea quite where I was going, but I let my words and true thoughts take me. There was a resounding cheer from the crowd, though a number seemed not to move at all.

"This may come as news to you, but my parents are now sided with Union." That did come as a surprise, since the crowd began to chatter, many seemed displeased. I scanned over the crowd as I spoke, to get a feel of the people fighting for my cause.

"I was surprised to. My parents started off as good people, but they became power hungry monsters. Bane and Pierce Vega fed them as much power as they wanted. But my parents powers were beginning to fail. What Union wanted next was me. In short, my parents sold out everything they once believed in for power. Union is corrupting good people, killing innocents and stealing what belongs to us." With each word, my voice grew stronger and clearer. I felt my heart beat pound harder and harder in my chest. The crowd was roaring.

"Union will not stop, but neither will we. We need to fight, together, for what we believe in. We can't let Union kill any more of us, to take everything from us. Union will not take us down, because we have what's even stronger than the need for power. We have strength, compassion and integrity" I yelled the last words. I climbed up onto the railing and put both of my arms into the air. I was fighting for everyone I lost and every person who Union hurt. I was tired of running, like Zaine said. These people were to.

"We aren't standing down, we aren't running. This is for everyone who Union has killed, this is for what we believe in. This is for us!" The crowd exploded in chants and cheers. They were alive and ready to fight. I was ready for whatever were to come.
