Chapter 4 ~lost~

I turned to run but my leg was caught on something and when I tried to free it I was already being tackled to the ground.. Yep I'm gonna die, but before I hit the ground the positions completely changed instead of me hitting the ground the wolf did and I am now lying on top of it. When I opened my eyes there laid Derek again but he was completely naked this time and I was on top of him. I started freaking out probably one of my panic attacks and took off running but I didn't run towards the house I ran deeper into the woods because that how smart I am.

"JESSICA!" Derek yelled but I didn't stop. I could hear loud foot steps behind me but never stopped. Soon enough I didn't hear them anymore but I kept running anyways. I finally stopped at this brook. I took a quick drink and followed it down stream, I began to hear things around me so I was now walking backwards still following the stream. That was until there was no more ground for me to be walking on and I was falling. I was falling down a waterfall, before I knew it I hit the water below and luckily there was no rocks. I swam to the surface and pulled myself on to land coughing and gulping for air. It was pitch dark out so I couldn't see barely anything all I could hear was the waterfall. I had no idea were I was, and then it hit me great I was lost. I remembered my phone in my back pocket and pulled it out but it was fried from the water. I walked until the sun came up and my phone turned on but I had no service, just great. I'm stuck out here and no one is going to come get me. "Hi" I spoke out as I came out from behind the tree. They all jumped because I probably scared them and then looked me over.

"What happened to you?" a girl asked

"I fell off the waterfall" I explained and there jaws dropped. " Do you know we're we are" I asked

"Yeah we do we're about 10 minutes out from the road" a girl said pointing in the direction they came from.

"Alright thanks what are you guys doing out here" I said

"Oh we're just going on a hike" a guy said

"Okay we'll thank you again" I said before heading in the direction the girl said and just as they did say in about 10 minutes I reached the road. But I have never seen this road before, well it was more of a high way but I have still never seen it. I started heading towards the way I came from but on the road hoping that it would lead me back into town. I walked for what felt like hours until my phone went off I must have service. I pulled it out and hit the answer button.

"Hello" I said

"Oh my god girl were are you" liv said on the other line

"I have no idea but I'm scared out of my freaking mind" I said back

"It's okay we're gonna find you can you explain what it looks like we're you are" she asked

"Uh yeah I'm on a highway because I found a road and there's a gas station just up the road a little bit that has the number 411 on it" I said

"I know we're that is" I heard my brother say in the background

"We're on our way" liv said before hanging up. I made it to the gas station and sat on the bench and waited. I had time to check my messages, most of them were from liv, Jace and Reece but I got a couple from an unknown number.

"What you saw in the woods never happened we will talk about it when you get back if you tell a living soul then I will personally kill you myself" is what I read it must have been Derek but to be honest I didn't want to die so I deleted the message and was planning on never telling anyone. About 30 minutes later my brothers car showed up and liv was the first one to me. Grabbing me into a hug and never letting go then it was Reece and my brother was last. But my brother held on to me the tightest. The car ride was silent other than liv trying to get me to say what happened but I just said I was to scared to talk about it. I was now in my room. All my doors and windows were locked and I'm sitting in the corner huddled up

Rose tried calling me more than once but I didn't pick up I was ignoring the whole world. I finally decided to do something productive today and get in the shower I needed one anyways. When i stepped in the hot water running on my skin is the best thing I have ever felt. I stood there just admiring how it felt before finally washing. When I got out I heard things being moved around in my room and started to panic. what the hell is in my room. I opened my bathroom door slowly after putting on a towel and there stood Derek in only basket ball shorts. He was going through my phone.

"What the hell" I said as I flung the door opened and marched over to grab it out of his hands but he moved away. "What are you doing" I asked

"Just checking something" and with that he threw my phone on the bed and looked at me. I started to back away until I hit a wall and he followed. He was literally inches away from my face. That thing, that monster from last night was inches away from me. "You look really hot with only a towel on" he whispered into my ear. I could feel his hot breath on my neck and it felt so good having him this close. I shook my head to get those disgusting thoughts out of my head.

"What the hell do you want" I asked

"You" he said before he started tracing kisses down my neck

"Was that you last night out there" I asked and with that he looked me straight in the eyes

"Yes" he plainly stated "now this is gonna hurt I little bit but don't scream" he said before putting one of his hands over my mouth and shoving his teeth into my neck. I let out a scream but it was muffled by his hand. When he pulled away I could feel hot tears running down my neck. I was so confused and I had no idea who the hell this was, he could be one of those people who eat humans for all I know. I shoved him backwards and he landed on my floor. I ran towards the door but before I made it there two strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back against a rock hard chest.

"What do you want, I'll give you anything just let me go please" I pleaded between cries.

"Look I don't wanna hurt you, Jess your my mate" Derek said while spinning me around so I was facing him.

"What the hell are you talking about" I questioned him and finally stopped crying.

"Your my mate, I'm a wolf and every wolf has there mate the one they spend the rest of there lives with and your mine" he said then hugged me and put his head into my neck

"Then why the fuck did you bite me" I asked

"Because that bite will turn into a mark and that let's every one know that your mine, it's called a claim" he explained

"I just don't even under stand" I said while trying to get out of his hold but he just growled and held me closer. " Derek I'm dating Reece" I spit out. He laughed before replying

"You mean that human the one that's always here the one that was tickling you" he said

"Yes I mean him and he's down stairs right now, so get out!" I yelled but no loud enough that anybody other then him could hear me.

"Fine but you will be mine and we will be together" he said before crawling out my window and jumping over to his. It was pretty impressive but I still hated his guts. I went back into the bathroom and looked at the bite on the side of my neck. It was already healing and the blood was going away. I wiped away the dry blood and there laid a little mark from we're he bit me. I just covered it up with my hair and went and got dressed. I picked out my maroon coloured dress and put it on. It was tight all the way down and reached just above my mid thigh. I put my black combat boots and grabbed my black leather jacket too. I put on a bit of make up and deodorant with perfume. I grabbed my wallet and car keys. I was gonna go shopping for a new phone and headed out the door.
