§  Jacob’s POV

“—it turns out I enjoy hanging out with you” she finished.

That really makes me feel good, what she just said really makes my day. I smiled at her and took a loose strand of her hair that had fallen from her face, and gently tuck it behind her ears.

I leaned forward and noticed she swallowed nervously, I stared at her brown eyes staring back at me. I wanted to close the gap between us, but I don’t know if she wanted to.

There was mere space between us I was near to closing the gap when I felt a chilly drop hit my nose and subsequently another. We abruptly pull apart and she lifted her face to see the dark sky, just as the rain starts to fall.

She squealed loudly, as I packed everything up in a lightning speed and took her hand, but to my surprise she yanked my hand back.

“Isn’t this perfect?” She yelled opening both her arms wide and danced under the pouring rain.

“I love the rain” she beamed.

“Seriously princess?” I asked

She pouts and said “Come on Steve, don’t be a party popper” and ran along the shore like a little kid.

§  Brooke’s POV

“Come on Steve, don’t be a party popper” I pout running along the shore, with smile decorating my face.

Yay! The rain is perfect.

I don’t know but I feel crazy about the rain, I looked back only to find him frozen still to where he was standing.

“Hey! Loise are you just gonna stand there?” I yelled, gaining his attetion.

After taking in what I said, his face growled into a wide smirk and came rushing towards me.

“Better get on your feet princess and don’t make me catch you.” He chortles.

All I did was waste no time and ran fast away from Jacob, but seriously this guy run faster than I thought. He did make a quick pace, and before I could take another step, a strong arm pulled me to halt.

“Now don’t we go swimming.” He smirked gesturing the sea.

“No… No… No.” I whined trying to escape from his tough grip.

“Now who’s the party popper?” He snickered.

“Now who’s the party popper?” I parotted with full mockery.

“It’s going to be fun princess.” He retorted with beaming teeth.

“There’s no way I’m going there.” I finalized with conviction.

Jacob instead eyed me playfully, “Come on don’t be such a baby.”

“You’re in--”

Before I could finish he lifted me up on his shoulder like some sort of light material.

“You’re out of your mind Steve! Put me down this instant.” I screech, but only responded with enormous laughter from him while helplessly dragging me to the sea.

 “Noo.” I whimpered.

I was hopeless and expecting to be plunged into the freezing salt water. I shut my eyes and prepared to b drowned but wait… he didn’t.

Good thing the rain had stopped, and just I realized that I was standing along the shore with him opposite to me.

I was about to leave but a huge wave hit me making me lose my balance, on the other hand before I could fall Jacob hold unto my shoulders to help me regain my sense of balance.

Clumsy as ever… I know.

“Whoa!” I said releasing my grip from his chest, but Jacob placed his arm around my waist drawing me closer to him.

“Shh!” He said close to my ear sending me shiver down my spine. Its good thing I looked away, that he wouldn’t see the embarrassment on my face.

Before then I could protest, he immediately cut me off. “Just calm down princess.” He whispered.

I did what was said, besides this body contact makes me feel warm.

We stayed silent for a couple of minutes until I finally broke the silence. “Jacob, uhm… I think we already need to go, it’s getting chilly.”

“Right! I’m sorry, let’s go?” He agreed.

“Race to your car!” I challenged.

We then both laughed our heads off running towards his car though we were still soppy from the rain fall a while back.

I laughed breathlessly as I reached the car, of course right after he got there first. I tell you never to challenge a guy… especially when he do sports, because there are no chance of winning… not even the slightest bit.

I hardly catch my breath while on the other hand he was all casual and yes… he looks fine.

We were currently inside his car, trying to rub both my palms to keep me from shivering since I was a bit damp. He then pulled something from the backseat, and to my surprise it was his jacket. He draped it around my shoulders probably to make me feel warm.

Oh… how nice of him to do that.

“Uhmn… Thanks Steve.” I smiled.

Honestly it felt cozy. I breath in the scent of his jacket at really it smells good and… it smells like him.

I snuggled closer on his warm jacket, whilst he drove off the streets to my place.

“Steve” I whispered.

“Yeah?” he asked wearily.

“I really had fun today. Thank you.” I beamed.

“…and please just don’t say anything and just keep your eyes on the road.” I said not wanting him to see how I look. I don’t know but I feel ashamed for acting like a bitch sometimes and he still stays nice to me.

He did what I said and chuckled in response as well as I could see him smirking from the corner of my eye.

I nearly kissed the bad boy, good thing none of us brought up the subject.

Am I happy with that?

Well honestly speaking I don’t know what to feel about it all I know is that I’m happy whenever he’s there. He makes me smile and I just feel like my problem disappears when he’s with me.

I don’t even know if I’m feeling the right thing or what I’m doing is right. He’s like giving me codes which I couldn’t interpret.

I just don’t know.
