"You know, you should have told me we were coming here." I whispered to Jacob.

"You don't have to worry you look fine." He looked at me and gave out a reassuring smile.

I pressed my lips together and talked quietly, "Fine isn't always okay, what I'm wearing isn't appropriate for this."

"You're appearance never mattered to me, you are always beautiful in every way you do." He smiled.

"Whatever," I blushed, diverting my gaze. But in any terms I definitely gave in, "Okay." I muttered sulkily. Taking my hand, he leads me into the building.

We are in a converted warehouse with brick walls, dark wooden floors, silver ceilings, and visible black pipe work. It's casual and modern, and there are several people wandering across the gallery floor. Sipping wine and admiring the artist's works.

"Good Morning, Welcome to Mr. Adam Rush's show." A young woman dressed in black with short brown hair, dark lipstick, and large pearl earrings greeted us.

She glanced briefly at me, then much longer than is strictly necessary with my companion, then turns back to me, blinking as she blushes.

Unspoken words! God this generation seriously is killing manners over and over.

As her eyes regained their focus, she blinked one last time. "Hi Miss, and Mr. Loise. We'll want you take this before heading in."

Grinning, she handed me and this companion of mine a brochure and directs us to a table laden with drinks and snacks.

According to Jacob, he was invited by a friend who was a really great guy.

Yeah! A precise description of a friend according to him, he didn't tell me where we were heading as soon as he picked me up a few hours earlier.

He never mentioned me the dress code actually for I am wearing nothing but a stylish tattered skinny jeans and crop top that shows a little skin. Good thing it's not only me, but his' is better than mine though. While everyone around us was in formal up do, and were all in dark shades looking classy.

"Hoe down, okay. I'm just gonna go meet someone, would you be okay by yourself here?"

"I'm not a kid. Okay? thanks anyway." I fake smiled, shooing him.

As soon as Jacob was out of sight I began to wander throughout the gallery, at the end of the hall was a painting that caught my eye. I was fascinated with it, it was incredible and I just can't explain the right way to describe such a great master piece.

Adam Rush's works are everywhere, and some in cases, blown up onto huge canvases. There are both monochromes and colors. There's ethereal beauty to many of the landscapes.

There was this painting that took my attention, it was a picture of the beach, it's early evening and the purple clouds are reflected on the water. Briefly, I was transported by the serenity and peace. It's breath taking.

I was busy admiring the painting and realized someone joined me, blocking my sight at the lovely art. I took a deep breath and swallowed. "Uh, excuse me."

This guy is rude!

Wasn't he aware of other people looking at that thing?

It took seconds and finally the guy turned towards me and smiled pointing at the painting. "Do you like it?"

Oh. Handsome as hell!

I nod and smiled at him. Could I be rude too and say something unappealing? My mind was swarming with thoughts, but before it would take me to else where I shook my head. "Like it? I... I love it.yeah. Adam Rush's an incredible talent."
