Hi, my name is Kat. I am 13 years old, and a squib. Yeah, you heard me right. A filthy, no good, useless squib. At least, that's what father says. My parents have always favored Draco and Scorpius over me. Father tortures me, starves me, cuts me, and even worse. The only reason he hasn't killed me yet is because he wants to see me suffer. All I want is to be free of him. I want to see the world. And my mother, well, she just stands there wickedly smiling while my father does what he does to me. They never loved me. They only loved Draco and Scorpius. I hate them so much. They got everything while I got nothing. Nothing will ever change my mind about him. But I have something that they might never have: Hope. I have hope that one day everything will get better.
