Paris's POV

Poke. Poke. Poke. Who is this? I felt around, and punched the body nearest to me.

"Ow!"

I opened my eyes. I saw Nico clutching his stomach. Accompanying him were Rose and June.

"Sorry, Nico!" I exclaimed. Nico scowled at me playfully. June had told me the night before that some months ago, Nico was actually very secretive and mysterious. She changed him into who he was meant to be.

"Ok, ok, stop flirting and let's go to breakfast, I'm hungry!" Rose exclaimed. I slapped her arm softly.

"Fine, fine! I'll change!" I replied. I stood up, and somehow my face immediately made contact with the ground.

"Yikes, Aria! Does this happen every morning?" June asked. I shook my head, yet again standing, this time without making a complete fool out of myself.

When I finished changing, I opened the bathroom door to become face to face with a grinning girl.

"Hi, Paris! My name is Lou, Lou Ellen. I'm your half sister!" She said. I smiled. Cool, I get siblings!

"Nice to meet you, Lou!" I said, shaking her hand. I suddenly heard a thumping on the door. Lou and I rushed towards the sound, and were met by an owl trying to get into our cabin. Weird, right? Well, I'll tell you what is really weird. When the little bird saw me, it sailed straight towards me, and dropped something on top of my head. It was a letter. And in the front was my name. I turned it over, and saw a red stamp, which I could not read, due to my dyslexia. If I couldn't read that, how would I read the letter?

I immediately remembered June telling me the night before that she didn't have dyslexia. Maybe she could read my letter!

I ran. And ran a bit more. I kept running until I found the Mess Hall. Inside, I looked for the Aphrodite table. I spotted June quickly. I made a beeline for her.

"June!" I called, waving my letter. She spun around, took one look at my letter, and gasped.

"What happened?" I asked, already by her side.

"This is awesome! Let's go somewhere private to talk about this." She said, standing up. She sprinted towards the Athena table, said something to Rose, and then Rose stood up. Now, they both were sprinting to the forest, and I had no choice other than to follow them.

When we finally reached a clearing, June, Rose and I sat down, panting. That was one of the longest runs I had ever experienced. Geez. Nothing can be that private!

June took out the letter, and started reading it out loud. It read:

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards).

Dear Miss Kane, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You were supposed to receive this letter two years ago, but we met some complications, and could not send it. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress."

I'm a witch? They seem excited, so it must be true! But why are they so happy?

"This is wicked, but why are you guys so excited?" I asked. They answered simultaneously.

"We are witches, too!"
