TIPS ON MAKING SENTENCES LONGER:

**Some tips to make your writing better, and longer**

 EXAMPLES:

1. The plane ride was boring. 

VS.

The plane ride (that would eventually lead us to France) was boring, however, I was excited for the trip.

2. I was excited to be here.

VS.

I was smiling from ear to ear- we were finally in France! 

**P.S- exclamation points and actions (i.e, smiled) show excitement without actually using the overused word "excited"**

3. I didn't want to go.

VS.

I felt depressed to go, after all the fun we've had, I wanted to stay.

**P.S- Avoid using exclamation points marks when sad. Only use them when your character is either excited or angry.**
