You and your brother,Stefan had moved back to Mystic falls. He had forced you to go with him so you could have a new start and so he could keep his eye on you. He still insisted on treating you like a child.
"Can we at least get a bite to eat?" You asked,Stefan raised his eyebrow at you and you smiled "I mean food not people. God Stefan,I'm not an animal you know" Stefan rolled his eyes and laughed at you,swinging his arm around your shoulders and leading you towards a small diner and out of the cold.
"Keep it together,okay?" Stefan told you as he saw you become fidgety and anxious as you both entered the diner. You were a ripper like him and you were constantly on edge. You never knew when someone was going to cut themselves and once you smelt the blood,you were a goner. You weren't as good as Stefan was at controlling it.
"Do you guys need a table?" A voice broke you out of your thoughts,Stefan's head snapped towards the sound of the voice,yours following slowly after.
"yeah please" Stefan smiled at the boy stood in front of you.
"You guys are new around here,aren't you? I'm Matt,it's nice to meet you" Matt's eyes wandered to you and Stefan watched with a small smile as you and Matt stared at each other for a few seconds. He nudged your shoulder a bit,snapping you out of your trance.
"Hey uh,I'm Y/N and this is my big brother Stefan" Matt finally turned back to Stefan and gave you both a smile,his eyes lingering on you for a few more seconds before turning away.
"Let's go find you a table"
Stefan patted your shoulder as Matt walked away,you glanced towards him and saw him making kissy faces at you and then pointing towards Matt. You groaned and shoved your brother,quickly following after Matt as Stefan followed behind you laughing.
