"Ready to go,Love?" Klaus questioned you with a smug smile,your head snapped towards him as you shot him a glare.
"I'm willingly going with you,the least you can do is let me say goodbye" you snapped at him causing him to raise his hands in mock surrender,a huge grin still on his face.
Jeremy Gilbert stood a few feet away from you,a look of pain and sadness on his face but also hatred.
You turned away from the original vampire and made your way over to the Gilbert boy. You both stood in silence,neither of you knowing what to say.
"You're making the wrong choice,Y/N. You know you're making the wrong choice, yet you make it anyway" you gave him a small,sad smile and took a step closer to him.
"It's not the wrong choice,Jer. I have to protect you and my brothers"
Jeremy scoffed at you and rubbed his hands over his face in frustration "your brothers can look after themselves,I can look after myself. You don't have to go,we can beat klaus together"
"You can't beat him,Jer. Klaus wants Elena alive but if she steps out of line,he is going to do everything he can to hurt her by hurting people she loves. Including you and my brothers. I can't have you dead" you dropped your head and sighed.
"Oh and turning your humanity off and becoming the ripper again is the better choice? You're gonna help him slaughter innocent people until he gets what he needs?"
"Do you really think I want to do this Jeremy?! I have to protect you" your voice cracked and Jeremy's face softened immediately,he wished there was some other way to stop klaus.
"I know for a fact that you're gonna be able to bring me back and make me switch my humanity back on. Bring me back,Jer" you whispered and placed a kiss on his cheeks,your lips lingering for a few seconds before you sped off away from him.
