Chapter 25:
Nick's POV
I been standing up and passing around for an 1 hour now where is the damn nurse already.
Joe: Nick dude relax, you're getting on everyone damn nerves with your pacing
Nick: I'm sorry I'm just nervous. I feel so responsible for her if anything happen to her I will blame myself
Sam: Nick man don't blame yourself when it was my it fault
Nick: But it wasn't, I should of at least told you that one thing but I blew it"
Grandpa: listen you two it's nobody fault alright! Now would everybody just calm down and wait for a nurse to let us know if she's okay.
Nick: *huff* fine
I was calm down as soon as a doctor came out with a clip board and everybody in the room turn to the doctor.
Doctor: David Andersen
The guys and I sigh and sat back down and so did the other people in the room except for the people she called. Another doctor came in again and he looked at his clip board and said.
Doctor: Charlie Jonas
All of us ran over to her.
Nick: is my sister fine
Doctor: yes everything fine, we were able to stable her
We all sigh in relief.
Doctor: but-
I hate when doctor do that.
Doctor: we almost lost her but she's fine now and stable but in her room resting
Nick: thank you so much doctor. what room number is she in"
Doctor: 220, but please be careful she needs her rest. You guys are very lucky she survive it Mr. Jonas"
Nick: *sighs* we know, thank you doctor, come on guys
All of them follow me to her room. When we made it I took a deep breath before opening up her room.
When I open up her door and all of us gasp at the sight of her. She was hook up to a lot of machine breathing into air holes to help her breath I sat down on the chair near by her and watch her sleep.
Grandpa: she looks beautiful doesn't she
Grandpa said sitting down in the chair next to me and I nodded and said.
Nick: yeah she does, when she's hook up to machines she still does"
Grandpa: she looks just like your mother when she was little
Nick: you knew our mom as a kid
Grandpa: no her parents showed me a picture of her one day and she looks exactly like her
Nick: I wonder why mom name her after Charlie then
Grandpa: because of you
Nick: me???
Grandpa: you don't remember the day Charlie was born?
Nick: how could I was young?
Grandpa: well your mom ask if you wanted to pick a name. When you first found out that you were gonna have a baby sister you weren't that thrilled. But soon you got use to the idea and the very first thing that pop into her mind was word Charlie because you use to like this show Charlie Brown. So your mom like the name and her full name became Charlotte May Jonas
Nick: wow but why May
Grandpa: because that's your mother favorite month
Nick: oh okay, how come I never knew about this?
Grandpa: we taught you remember
Nick: oh maybe that's why I'm always protective over her
Grandpa: maybe, or it's probably just your brotherly insist
Joe: hey guys look, she started to wake up
All of us turn our head to Charlie who started to open her eyes and she look up at us and smile and mumble.
Charlie: h-hey
Nick: hey, do you remember what happened?"
Charlie: I-I think so
Nick: well thank god that's all over right
She nodded her head slowly.
Charlie: I wanna go home
Grandpa: I'll go tell the doctor
I nodded and Grandpa. left the room and I started carelessing her cheek.
Nick: hey, how are you feeling?
Charlie: I think I'm doing better, I'm sorry...
Nick: *confused* for what?
Charlie: I should have been careful
Nick: hey, hey don't be sorry. You didn't know, accident happened sweetheart alright
She nodded her head slowly, and I kiss her forehead just as Grandpa came back in with the doctor.
Doctor: hey, how's the patience doing today
Charlie: I think I'm better
Doctor: well if you guys don't mind taking a step outside I would like to run some test on her to see how she's doing.
We all nodded and I went to get up but she grab my hand and I look at her and she said.
Charlie: *scared* please stay
I sigh, Charlie doesn't like staying alone with out me especially, when she's in the hospital. I look at the doctor and he nodded and I sat back down and look at her and said.
Nick: don't worry honey I'm not going anywhere
Charlie: thank you, I love you big brother
Nick: *smiles* I love you too munchkin
I kissed her cheek and she giggle and the doctor started to check on Charlie to see if she's ready to go home.
