Chapter 4:
After Dinner.
Charlie was in her room cleaning up her room for her friends to come over, so they can work on their book report. The doorbell suddenly rang and Charlie went downstairs to find Nick, who just open the door and said.
Nick: hey Natalie, Jaden
Natalie: hey Nick
Jaden: hey Mr. N
Nick: please call me Nick, just at my house not at school
Jaden: cool
They walk in and Charlie went over to them.
Natalie: hey Char, did you hear about that movie coming up tonight?
Charlie: yeah and I can't wait to watch it
Nick: uh no, no way. You guys aren't you're here to read that book tonight
Charlie: please Nick (gives him the puppy dog eyes)
Nick: (looks away) sorry Charlie I already told you no
Charlie: (stops her foot) this isn't fair
Nick: (looks at Charlie) stop the attitude right now young lady, or else you'll have another sore bottom
Charlie: (blush embarrassed) Nick!
Natalie: wow Charlie, what did u do?
Nick: that is clearly none of your business. Now why don't all three of you go up to Charlie room right now and start on your book report. I'll come up and check to see how u guys are doing, okay?
Charlie/Natalie/Jaden: okay
Charlie, Natalie and Jaden all went upstairs and into Charlie's room and started reading their book.
Later On.
It's 10 o'clock, and they're already in the middle of the book while Natalie was writing it down and Charlie groan and said.
Charlie: alright enough (close her book) I had it with the reading let's take a break
Jaden: it only been 3 hours
Charlie: yeah and I think we read enough (close his book)
Natalie: how about we check what time the movie starts?
Charlie/Jaden: okay
Natalie checks the time on for the movie on TV, and she said.
Natalie: 12 o'clock
Charlie: but that's way past our bedtime
Natalie: yeah so? We could still watch it right when Nick goes to bed then we will watch TV
Charlie: great idea
They get started on the book again, but instead they end up talking about how great the movie will be. Nick walked through the door and said.
Nick: okay guys bedtime
Charlie: (whines) awe Nicky! 5 more minutes please
Nick: nope sorry baby and besides its way past everyone's bedtime. Plus you guys have school tomorrow. Oh I almost forgot, did u guys like the book?
Charlie: (lies) oh we, loved it!
Natalie: it was very interesting Nick
Nick: sure it is, night ladies
Jaden: ahem
Nick: and guy (leaves room)
Natalie/Charlie: (laughs at Jaden)
Jaden: gosh I hang out with u girls too much. I need guy friends
Charlie: what about Frankie he's a guy right?
Jaden: yeah but he's not in our class
Charlie: true, come on guys let's get changed. Then we will turn off the lights so that Nick thinks we are asleep
Jaden/Natalie: okay
Jaden went to the bathroom and change while Charlie and Natalie change then they each brush their teeth and got on Charlie's bed with Charlie in the middle. The lights were turned off and the kids started watching the movie.
During the movie.
They're actually watching a scary movie while waiting for the other movie to come on. Natalie was covering her face with her pillow while the others were watching it.
Natalie: (whispers) don't go in the closet, don't go in closet
Charlie: (whisper to Natalie) Natalie relaxes
Jaden: shh this is the good part
Natalie/Charlie: (roll eyes)
The scary part happens making Natalie and Charlie both scream. Nick run's into Charlie's room and turn on the light and all three of their face turn pale.
Nick: what going on in here? I heard screaming. (looks around the room) What are all three of you still doing up? It's way past your bedtime.
Charlie: we were watching a movie
Nick looks at the screen on the TV and see the murder killing the lady, and she's all bloody grabs the remote from Charlie and turns the TV off.
Nick: Charlie didn't I say not to watch this kind of movies because it gives u nightmares? Beside this is a rated R movie
Charlie: I'm sorry Nicky, but we were only staying up because the movie we were gonna watch was after this movie
Nick: (sighs) that's not the point Charlotte. When I tell you kids to go to bed, I mean it. (Sighs) But I will deal with all three of you in the morning before we go to school
Charlie: But Nicky!
Nick: no butts Nicky me! You guys needs to be taught a very valuable lesson and Jaden you are aware with this punishment too, same thing in school happens at home here as well
Jaden: *sighs* yes sir
Nick: now, all three of you get some sleep. You will be waking up bright and early for your punishment tomorrow because all three of you will be going to school with a very sore bottoms. Is that understood?
All three of the kids: understood
Nick: alright night and go to bed, I mean it this time (leaves room and goes back to his)
Charlie: (sighs) I'm sorry I got u guys in trouble
Natalie: it's not your fault this time, we all decided to stay up to watch the movie as well
Jaden: come on let's go to bed I'm tired
Charlie: (yawns) yeah me too, Nick gonna kills us tomorrow for not finishing our book assignments when we had all week to do it. Goodnight
Natalie/Jaden: Yeah, night *falls asleep*
Charlie goes and turn off the light and fall asleep in the middle of them.
