My hands are trembling as I grab my phone in the table. Ilang minuto na nang nakaalis si Simon pero hindi pa rin ako makagalaw dahil sa huling salitang binitawan nya. Maybe, he was just kidding but I couldn't see it in him so.

I dialled our lawyer's number. Ang totoong family lawyer namin. Attorney Boromeo. Habang inaantay ang pagsagot mula sa kabilang linya ay binasa ko ang nakalagay sa papel na tinapon ni Simon sa harap ko kanina.

It was a contract made between my mother and the IVF Clinic. As stated;

I Caroline Ameline Lazuriaga-Javellana mother of Sapphira Domique Lazuriaga Javellana who is client of this instution was authorize to choose and sign documents.

Sperm donor No. 2212, base on records was owned by Joseph Simon Araneta Marcos. Filipino and Citizen of the Philippines. As Sperm Donor No. 2212 was choosen by Caroline Ameline L. Javellana to be administer to her daughter Sapphira Dominique L. Javellana. Filipino. Citizen of the Philippines and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland. Following terms was agreed upon.

1. The Clinic rule that once's a person donate it's sperm or egg it will automatically mean that the person already give up all the rights to that part wheather the cells will produce in new life or fail on its process. Yet, upon this agreement Mrs. Caroline Ameline L. Javellana mother of the client Sapphira Dominique L. Javellana give the sperm donor no. 2212 all the rights wheather the procedure will fail or success.

2. Sperm Donor no. 2212 will be recoginize as the father of the child the moment it became successful. As right time comes and the sperm donor no. 2212 his rights and claims he won't be question futher.

This agreement was made knowledgely by both parties and considered to be valid upon signation.

I almost done reading that paper when Attorney Borromeo answered his phone. Ang totoo hindi na kami muling nga usap ng abogado since he went somewhere we don't know at hindi na muling nagpakita. Nagbakasali lang ako kung ito pa rin ang number niya and maybe I still have some luck since he pick up.

"Yes, Hello?" he's weak voice answered from the other line.

"Attorney, this is Sapphira Javellana." Pagpapakilala ko.

Mahabang katahimikan ang bumalot sa pagitan namin.

"What can I do for you Sapphira?" he finally said after that long silence.

I sighed. "I need your help for my daughter's papers. I know you have an idea about this at ikaw ang huling nakausap ni Mommy tungkol dito. Can you please enlighten me with all of this because now someone is claiming my daughter? I can't let that happen attorney. If he's really telling the truth then I can't lose this battle without even trying to know everything and fighting at the same time."

"I can't meet you personally Sapphira. I don't want to be involve anymore. Hindi na ako ang family lawyer nyo." He said.

"Then at least help me in any way you want attorney."

"I'll send you the files I have. That's all I can do."

Bago pa man ako makasagot ulit ay naputol ang tawag. Gusto ko na tuloy masiraan ng bait.

Hindi na ako pumasok sa trabaho ganun din si Anna. Buong araw akong nag research at nag contact ng mga taong kakilala ko para makatulong but I end up with nothing.

At night I can't sleep. I keep on thinking bakit nangayari ito. Paano nalaman ni Simon ang mga yon. Paano kung pakana nga lahat nila ni Jasmine ito. They will take Sera away from me then they will live as family. Hindi ko hahayaan na mangyari yun. Kinuha na sa akin lahat hindi ko pwedeng basta na lang bitawan ang karapatan ko sa anak ko.

If I need to begged for my daughter. I'll surely do. Kung hindi ko mapapakiusapan si Simon then, I'll go to his parents. To his brothers sure they can convice him.

Doon ko na muna pinatulog si Sera kay Anna. I can't let my daughter see me this way. Mukha akong zombie na sira ulo dahil sa lahat ng problema ko.

Dahil sa hindi makatulog bumangon na lang ako mula sa pagkakahiga sa kama, nag hanap ako ng pwedeng gawin para libangin ang sarili. I grabbed my sketch book and try to make some piece. I miss my passion. I miss my old life. Pero tumatakbo ang mundo at kailangan ko sumunod.

The morning sun is out when I decided to get out of my room para magluto ng breakfast. I'm preparing the ingredients I need when I heard a knock from the door.

Bigla na namana akong kinabahan. Kahapon kasi kumatok din tapos bigla na lang bumungad si Simon. Who is it this time? His lawyer?

Kahit parang nagkakarerang kabayo na ang puso ko hindi ako nag dalawang isip na bukasan ang pinto.

Instead of a lawyer I saw Simon in front of me. With two big paper bags on his hands. Tininganan ko siya ng matagal until I found myself give some space para makadaan siya.

Diretso siya sa loob ng kusina sabay lapag ng dala niyang paper bag.

"What are you doing?" I asked. I don't want to sound intense dahil baka kung saan na naman mapunta ang pag-uusap na ito ay may lawyer involve na naman. I'm not ready for this. Inaamin ko na. I don't have money, time and power like him. So, I remain calm. Napag-isip isip ko din kasi kanina habang nag sisketch na if I really fight for this it will be a long process. It will be hard for me at mas lalo na sa anak ko. Siya ang higit na maapektuhan dito.

"Don't cook anymore, bought some breakfast. I don't kung ano ang gusto ni Sera so, binili ko na lang lahat." He said habang isa-isa niyang nilalabas yong mga pagkain.

"You don't need to do this. Ayoko masanay sya sa outside food." I said habang pinagpapatuloy ang nasimulan kong gawin kanina.

"I'm his father. At least let me do this."

Tumango ako at nagpatuloy sa ginagawa.

"Is she awake?"

"I don't know. Sa kwarto siya ni Anna natulog. Maaga pa at mamaya pa ang gising nun." I told him. I know Sera's body clock at kung tama ako mamayang alas syete pa ang gising noon.

"I see. I'll wait then –

"Paano mo nalaman lahat ng to." I cut him off.

He look at me really intense like I asked something wrong. Kung ayaw niya sagutin wag na lang hindi ko naman siya pinipilit.

"Your papers was sent in our house, then I saw my name on one of then, that's it." He said.

Napaawang ang bibig ko.

That's violation! Akin yong mga papeles na yon bakit niya tiningnan.
