Washington

Even though, most people were against it, Bobby insisted the children walk behind their parents, as their coffins paraded the solemn, silent streets of the mourning city. The children, marched with their uncle, their other uncles including Teddy, following close behind. Even though he was turning three that day, John understood everything that was going on.

There was not one smile, the entire parade. Both children, appeared with pale faces, like chalk. Their cheeks, looked wet with tears. However despite all the emotion, none of the Kennedys had red, baggy eyes; much to the surprise of everyone. The Kennedys strode along the streets of Washington to St Matthew's.

The foreign dignatries from almost every country in the world followed. From Charles de Gaulle from France and Prince Phillip from the United Kingdom, they were all there. In the silence, the haunting but yet wonderful sound of the Black Watch Regiment from Scotland echoed. It would be tough but they would need to get through it.

These were the only things running through Bobby's mind.
