Pic of Jake ^^^^^

As I ran away, I couldn't help but feel like a part of me was just ripped out of my chest and crushed into a thousand different pieces. My best friend just betrayed me. He did the only thing that I would actually care about and decided to kill the only chance I have of happiness. I ran at least four blocks away and couldn't help but feel like my lungs are collapsing. I stop running and set my hands on my knees. My breath comes out ragged and my eyes start watering. Before I know it, I fall to the ground and let all the hurt flow out of me. I couldn't understand why in the world he would do this. Why would he turn on me. He knew if I found out, he would lose me. So why did he do it?

I got up off the ground and brushed some of the dirt off of me. My head was throbbing and my body felt numb. Everything felt numb actually. I wiped the tears away and stood on the sidewalk. Where the hell am I?

From: Klaus

Where are you? I'm worried and so is Elijah. Please call us.

I go to my phone icon and press Klaus. I wait maybe two rings and he immediately picks up.

"Where are you?" He asks and I could hear a girl on the other side. My chest stiffened and I clear my throat.

"A few blocks away from Tyler's place." I say and he growls at someone on his end.

"I'm coming to get you." He says and the phone hangs up. I stand there, letting the wind blow my hair. I kicked a stone for a while and then I felt someone's eyes on me. I looked up and raised a brow.

"Who's there?" I say and get ready to throw a punch. All I hear is silence and then out of nowhere, a hand is over my mouth and I can't move.

"Guess who..." the person says in a cooing voice and my eyes widen. It can't be him. It can't be. "I said guess who, Cassia." He says roughly, shoving his knee in my back softly, but it still hurt. You could tell he didn't want to hurt me.

"J-Jake?" I ask and my eyes closed. Trying to forget the guy who was my boyfriend back in high school.

"Hmmh, I love the sound of my name coming off of your lips." A shiver goes up my spine and I bite my lip. He takes his hand off of my mouth and he puts his face right by my ear.

"What do you want?" I ask fearfully. He chuckles and my mind goes back to high school. He was never a good boyfriend. He cheated, he stole from me, he hit me, and he did the one thing that hurt me the most. I started to hate myself because everything he did to me. This was freshman and sophomore year. He left at the end of tenth grade because his parents were moving. I haven't heard from him or about him since. Until now.

"I want you." He says. It comes out as a death threat. It slithered out of his mouth and into my ear making me feel like I just got taken back into the past.

"Well Jake, you can't have me. I'm not the person I was before. I won't let you do what you did to me back in high school." I say, starting to get some of my confidence back. My eyes narrow and I purse my lips. Jake chuckles this evil and defiant laugh. It made chills go throughout my entire body.

"You know I can take whatever I want." He says and pauses. "But I won't do that with you. Not now." He turns me around and I finally see his face after all this time. "I'm not the person I was back then either, Cas. I've changed. Really, I have." I raised my brows at him in a questioning manner. He let's go of me and his eyes turn soft. Something I've never seen on him. "Just, if you wanna do something, I'll be at the grill every Saturday night. Just meet me there." He turns around before he turns the corner. "I've always loved you. I've never stopped." He walks away and I stand there dumbfounded. Jake Young is back. He's back and after all this time, he's saying he loved me. A smile makes its way onto my face and I start walking towards the Mikaelson Mansion.
