To my lover and friend,
I wonder what it's like to hear you laugh,
Laughing over something ridiculous that I probably did
I wonder what it's like to feel your fingers running up and down my body,
Gently tugging through my hair
I wonder what it's like to see you every day,
To wake up and kiss your lovely face
I wonder what it's like to snuggle into you and inhale your scent,
To know if you smell like strawberries or peppermint
And I wonder what it's like to taste your skin,
To trace your beautiful body and every hidden inch.
