A/N based of James and Lena's breakup
"It was inevitable" Lena turned away from james, she didn't let tears fall.
Luthor's don't cry
"Pull the car over" James ordered the driver, a few seconds later the car pulled over and the photographer walked out.
Lena felt her eyes sting but she pushed them away
Luthor's don't cry
The car started up again, Lena raised her voice "Take me to my lab"
The driver did as he was told, he turned the car around and drove in the direction of L-Corp.
In Lena's office
The brunette threw her fur coat onto the sofa and sat on her chair, she looked over to find the planner that Kara had given her; the memory brought a smile to her face. Something she hadn't done in a while.
Suddenly her office door swung open, a frantic blonde scanned to the room she seemed to relax when she saw Lena
"Lee I'm so sorry" Kara walked over and wrapped Lena in a hug, the luthor froze, she had been hugged by Kara before but this was different
Without permission tears started to fall from Lena's eyes, she hated it. She couldn't control the liquid that was pouring down her face
"It's ok, let it out" Kara whispered "He doesn't deserve you"
After a few tender seconds they pulled away
Luthor's shouldn't cry
"How did you know"
The blonde froze, "Look I'm a dreadful friend. I'm..i-"
"Your Supergirl" Lena smiled slightly as she wiped her tears away "I know it's ok, so you over heard our conversation"
Kara eyes welled up "I'm so sorry- I wanted to tell you so bad. It's just you were dating James and I was pissed. So I took keeping my secret a weapon against you"
Lena's mind entered a state of confusion "You were pissed?"
"I was, because I fucking like you. And it isn't fair, I fell for you; but I fucked it up because I kept my secret" more tears started to fall from Kara eyes "and I-..i"
Superheroes don't cry
"Kara darling, you didn't fuck up, I'm sure you had your reasons, I guess we both have pent up emotions. Do you want to take them out on me?" Lena whispered lustfully
"Lena- I could hurt yo-" Before the Alien could finish Lena's lips were on Kara's
"I can take it"
Sometimes strong women cry
