Kara wiped her tears away as she lifted the coffin of her best friend, her glassy eyes looked at the Picture of a young Winn Schott , he was the Captain's best friend and one of the only people that truly understood what she was doing through during the war.

Slowly her and a few other men carried the coffin to the car and set it in gently, His family were crying.

One the coffin was driven away Kara sat down on a nearby bench and wiped her tears, a woman sat down beside her

"I'm sorry Kara"

The blonde turned and found Lena sitting with a baseball cap on, she wore a glove to hide her metal arm

"I appreciate you being here"

"I will always be here, you made a nice speech"

The blonde pushed her hair out of her face "Stalker"

The winter soldier smiled "At least you know Winn is in a better place"

"So what have you been up to at the minute?" The Captain asked

"Well thanks to you my pardon is almost there but their are a few people who still don't like me, your buddy Iron Man is one of them"

Kara laughed "Yeah Tony just ignore him"

"I don't deserve it Kara" Lena sighed

"What why not, you were under mind control their was nothing you could do about it"

"I know....but I still regret everything, I hurt so many people"

"Well how about you come over to my place and we can drink our feelings away" She paused "Though neither of us can get drunk"

"Yeah I like the sound of that"

The pair got up and slowly walked in comfortable silence to the Blonde's apartment, once they got their they both sat down

Kara undid her tie and Lena threw off her cap.

"I'm going to miss Winn's annoying face you know" The winter soldier sighed

"Yeah me too, did you know for the longest time he had a crush on me, but then I came out to him and he was totally cool with it, he was the last person I talked to before crashing into the Ice"

"Is that so" Lena took a sip of the alcohol that Kara had provided

"Yeah he tried to convince me not too, but hey it's good he didn't, I wouldn't have been able to save you"

The soldier scoffed "My ass doesn't need saving"

"Language" The Captain muttered

"Look I can't completely remember but was our relationship during the war"

Kara chocked on her drink "Right um...we fought together, and we were girlfriends" she whispered the last bit

"Did you say girlfriends, well that explains why I like staring at you ass"

"You go that" Kara laughed

"Hey you do it too" The Luthor got up and walked over, she sat on top of Kara, making the captain blush

"Well then if you were my girlfriend, and we never actually broke up, you know what that means"

"Dear lord I'm a gay mess" The blonde barely managed to say

"That you are" Lena trailed kisses along the Captain's neck "Do you like that?" She asked lustfully

"Yes...keep going"

The Winter soldier kissed her girlfriend's pale lips, staining them with her own red lip stick.

Suddenly a knock on the door disturbed them, "Seriously" Kara muttered

They both got up and Kara want to the door, she found Black widow Aka Alex Danvers standing there

"Sorry am I disturbing something" She said noticing the red lip stick "Because you don't wear makeup"

Quickly Kara rubbed it away "Yeah um...I have a friend over"

"Yeah what a friend, Look we need you at the avengers tower, Stark is probably going to do something stupid" Alex sighed, she tried to have Look in her friend's apartment but the Captain was blocking the door

"Well off we go then, I'll grab my shield, give me a few secs" Kara closed to the door "Look I have to go but feel free to stay here"

She grabbed her shield and her phone and kissed Lena's cheek

"I'll see you soon" Kara said her goodbyes

"See ya Cap"

The captain closed the door behind her and followed her fellow avenger

"So what's actually happening" Kara asked

"His name is Thanos"
