Kara rushed to assembly, Her alarm didn't go off, She wriggled her way through the big crowd of students finding a seat amongst a bunch of Seniors, Kara was in one before last year, And today the prefects were being announced. Her sister Alex was head prefect the year before.

The headmaster cleared his throat "Welcome to assembly, This is for many of you, your last one, I would like to thank the staff for the help they have provided for my prefects choices, This year there will 7, including second and Head prefect"

Everyone let out a cry, Shouting some names. Mainly Mike Daxam, The golden boy

"Being a prefect holds a lot of responsibility, And I'm trusting you with the welfare of this School, First prefect is James Olsen"

Once again the students cheered

"Sam Arias"

Kara cheered happily for her friend.

"Winn schott"

The three students stood up and walked up the stage, Getting a handshake and a pin representing their position

"Next Lucy Lane and our local genius 'Brainy', That's our prefects and now for our Head and second prefect"

The pair walked up and received there honours

"And our second prefect, Lena Luthor" Kara cheered the loudest, Her best friend, She was super happy

The blond knew how was next, Mike, He was getting it.

"And next years senior prefect is, Can I get a drumroll?" The headmaster said

The body of students tapped the feet on the wooden floor

"Kara Danvers"

The Younger Danvers Froze, Did he just say her name. A guy beside nudged her, Everyone eyes stared at Kara

Slowly she rose, Walking down the corridor, Everyone started to applaud, Causing The blonde to blush.

Lena joined her friend, The girls smiled

"Thank you, You both have shown leadership, Lena in house (Boarding houses), Kara in class, and both on the field, Thank you, Now please come except your honour" headmaster J'onz said

The pair shook his hand, Kara was still having a hard time to process the honour.

The prefects lined up, Kara and Lena standing beside each other

"LESBIANS" Mike shouted from the crown, Salty from his loss

Lena turned to Kara "Just role with this" The Luthor muttered under her breath

Slowly the brunette leaned in, Placing a kiss on Kara lips, The blond smiled at the touch, She pushed her lips closer

They pulled away, Everyone was now booing Mike and celebrating the kiss.

As soon as assembly finished Kara pulled Lena away, Into the forest which sat behind the school

"Look Kara I'm sorry-" Lena started

Kara kissed her best friend

"Please never be" The blond said as they pulled away
