Jeremy felt his stomach drop as soon as she mentioned Shelly. "What?" Elizabella laid back against the seat. "Your mum and Mrs. Montone mentioned her...and well I'm just being nosy I guess.." She said awkwardly. He knew he couldn't lie to her because it would only come back around to get him later. He wanted to be honest with her anyway, as he expects the same from her. "She's...well I wouldn't say she is an ex because we never actually dated." He said slowly and gauged her reaction. She tilted her head to the side. "They mentioned something about her...well about you guys getting married or something like that." She stated but it sounded more like a question.

He exhaled through his nose and nodded. "Everyone made that assumption but not because of me. Shelly...well she was just a little attached. We have a history but a strictly sexual one. You can even ask Zachery...he wouldn't lie to you for me." He said and the last part came out a little sour. She nodded her and sighed. "Are you two...still friends?" She questioned. He glanced over to her. "Yes...but that is it. I haven't been with anyone other than you in months. As soon as I thought there was going to be something between us... I lost complete interest in other women." He said with honesty.

She was staring out the window not really showing much emotion and it was making him nervous. "Except Catalina...or whatever her name is." She spat. He flinched from hearing the name. "Love...that was a mistake...a big one but it's not like I fucked her." He said calmly. She snapped her head towards him. "Bloody hell, Jeremy!" She gasped. "I'm just saying..." He said softly. She huffed out and let her shoulders slouch. "I know, I guess I just got a little jealous hearing them talk about another girl." She admitted and he nodded as he completely understood. "Well you don't need to worry. Shelly is a friend and we have a little history...but what I have with...what we have is totally different. I love you." He said while side glancing at her. She smiled over at him. "I love you too." She said contently now.

He relaxed a little from seeing her smile. "Oh and I seriously hope you were joking about hiring me." She stated with amusement clear in her voice. He furrowed his eyebrows. "I wasn't. You will start Monday...I told my father I would call Hannah in the morning." He stated firmly. She looked at him with a horrified expression. "Absolutely not, Jeremy! I have a job thank you and I don't care what you or your family think of it. I will not be working for you. Do you know how embarrassing that would be? Oh Jeremy Gage's girlfriend stole the job from Hannah." She said with a mocking tone.

He gripped the steering wheel. "Oh and being a stripper is much better? I don't want you working there. If you don't want to work for me fine but I can't sit back any longer and pretend to be OK with you flaunting your body around to men for money. Do you know how embarrassing that is for me? Oh there's my girlfriend right there on the pole!" He spat.

She scowled at him and balled her small fists. "Fuck you! At least I'm not daddy's little bitch!" She spat right back at him. He stopped the car in the middle of the street. "What the fuck did you just say?" He boomed and she jumped back and gripped the passenger side door. Jeremy froze as he saw that she was frightened by him. They went from being calm and civil to screaming at each other rahter quickly. That's not how he wanted it to go. He went to place his hand over to her but she flinched back. "Are you afraid of me?" He asked and he sounded almost disgusted but not by her. She remained quite and just stared at him with wide eyes.

He swallowed nervously and looked back to the road and continued to drive. It was completely silent and it was driving Jeremy insane. "Elizabella....you have to know that I would never hurt you. I may get loud and I am sorry for that but please...please know I would never lay a hand on you like that." He said slowly trying to really express his seriousness. She nodded quickly. "I know...you just caught me off guard that's all. I know you wouldn't hit me." She stated in a small voice. Jeremy didn't like how she was speaking to him as if she were walking on egg shells. "I don't want you to be afraid of me. I would rather off myself before ever hurting you." He stated to push it further. "I'm sorry for what I said...it...I have a hard time accepting your career choice and I would feel much better if you just quit. Like I said you don't have to work for me...but I figured you'd want to still work and the job I'd be hiring you for is quiet simple really...and I really meant what I said about you having time to write." He added.
