Jeremy reluctantly went back to his flat after the gym. He dropped his duffel bag at the foot of his bed and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. He was trying to think of anything but Elizabella. He knew she must be so angry with him for leaving but he just couldn't stay. Not with him feeling the way he was. He would of ended up saying worse things to her.

Jeremy took a rather long shower just to waste time but once the hot water ran out he had no choice but to get out. He wrapped a towel around his waist and made his way to his closet. He picked out a pair of black denim jeans and a short sleeved button up shirt. He decided not wear his boots and went with some simple black tennis shoes.

He gelled his hair back and sprayed himself over with some cologne. He felt confident with how he looked. He wasn't the type of person to wear his heart on his sleeve. He didn't want anyone to know that he was actually miserable. If anyone saw him right now they wouldn't suspect anything was wrong in fact all they would see is how good he looked.

He checked the time on his phone and was thankful that it was already quarter after three. He walked into his office and pulled out his laptop to check his email. He skimmed through them and deciphered which ones were important and which ones were going to the recycle bin. That took him all of ten minutes so he closed his laptop and sat at his desk tapping his foot.

In a way he was glad that he couldn't call Elizabella but deep down he was going crazy. He wasn't sure if she would still be in Leeds tonight so he wasn't really sure when he could get a hold of her. He could easily call the hotel to check but he decided against it. It was best for him to give her some space. They both needed it.

Jeremy left his office and went to grab his keys. As he was walking out of his flat he pulled his phone out and dialed Zachery. He picked up after a few rings. "Hey mate!" Zachery chirped. "Hey, you'll be at Shelly's right?" He questioned. "Yeah, where were you this weekend? Marcus tried calling you so you could come watch a game and drink." Zachery asked. "I was in Leeds for the weekend. I came back this morning." He stated as he got into the elevator. "Leeds? What the hell were you doing there?"

Jeremy didn't want to get into full detail of what happened especially over the phone so he kept it short. "Oh I was with Elizabella. She was there for work." He stated simply as he walked out of his building. "Oh...how romantic. Is she with you?" Zachery teased. Jeremy rolled his eyes and let out a fake laugh. "Nah, I left before her." He wasn't lying. "Oh alright mate, well I'll see you in a bit yeah?"

Jeremy ended the phone call as he got into his car. He headed to Shelly's house since he didn't feel like waiting anymore. Shelly lived close to his parent's house so the drive wasn't long. He pulled up her long drive way and parked next to her red BMW. He saw the gate that lead to the back yard was open and he heard people laughing and talking from back there so he went through the gate instead of knocking on the front door.

Shelly's mother was the first one to spot Jeremy. "Oh Jeremy! I'm so happy you came! I haven't seen you in quiet some time now!" Shelly's mother cooed she came over and kissed his cheeks. Shelly's parents adored him specifically her mother. They knew Jeremy was just as rich as them if not richer and of course Jeremy's looks helped. They always assumed that Jeremy would one day eventually just ask Shelly to marry him. Little did they know that's the last thing he would ever do. "Hello Mrs. Brown. You look lovely." He said sweetly as he smiled. She blushed and gave him a pointed look. "Oh stop it, we both know you're here to swoon my daughter, like always!." She teased. He laughed deeply though he was only laughing because of how false her statement was.
