Chapter Fourteen

OMFG I am so sorry about the late update! I am a poor excuse of a person I know :( The summer holiday laziness caught me :'( I have 2 days left of the holiday and I haven't even got a single pen... Kill me now!!! D:

Chapter Fourteen

(Neji's p.o.v)

I had been on my way to my bedroom when I noticed that Rei was using our training ground, I sat down and decided to see how skilled she was, for future reference of course. As I watched her I couldn’t help but notice how pretty she was, but not as pretty as Ten-Ten. I shook my head I shouldn’t be thinking about girls I have to focus on becoming stronger and protecting the main house, it was my destiny after all. The way she moved was as if she was dancing, her movement’s graceful and skilled, I felt like I was in a trance and I couldn’t help but fall asleep watching her.

(Normal p.o.v)

It was probably around 5 or 6 judging by the position of the sun; I sat down leaning back on my arms watching the sun come up. When it was around 8 I decided I would go wake up Hinata and ask her to take me to the Hokage’s office. However I was surprised to see the sleeping body of Neji, I gently nudged him awake, and he looked startled and looked at me wearily. I simply said, “You will get stiff if you sleep like that,” and walked toward Hinata’s room.

I knocked on the door and found that Hinata was already dressed, she looked at me and said in a slightly annoyed tone, obviously wasn't a morning person, "an ANBU came looking for you he said to go to the Hokage's office, I was just about to get you." I simply nodded and put my clothes on. I followed her, once we were outside the office she walked off leaving me by myself. I watched her retreating figure before walking up to the door and knocking.

An ANBU opened the door and I walked in and sat cross-legged on the floor, Saru-chan raised and eyebrow. "I was training all night so my feet are tired," I said which made him give me a weary look but he didn't say anything. We waited for 5 minutes before a man with silver hair walked in, he greeted Saru-chan with a bow and when he saw me simply said "yo." I replied with a "sup" and sized him up briefly before looking back at Saru-chan.

I looked to Saru-chan for an explanation of why the silver-haired man with interesting choice of literature was here. "Rei meet Kakashi, Kakashi meet Rei," Saru-chan said while gesturing to each of us. I raised an eyebrow, "I have to stay with a man who reads porn?" He nodded but asked "how did you know it was porn?" I sighed, "I accidently bumped into the writer who made me read the unpublished copy so he could get the opinion of a woman." Saru-chan seems shocked by this, "you meet the toad sage?" I nodded, "yup, although he is more like the pedo-sage."

Saru-chan had agreed with me and after a little more questioning about how exactly I meet him, (outside a bath-house perving on the girls, hence why he's a pedo, he looks old enough to be their great-grandfather or something). He told Kakashi that I would be living with him because otherwise I would have to stay Gai. When he heard that I might have to stay with Gai he looked at me with pity and agreed. I followed him as he showed me the way to my new home.
