chapter 25: new boy

Lauren's P.O.V

after the "drama day" at school me and ethan went to the park hanging out there. we stayed there for a bit then we said our goodbyes and went home. i had dinner and after dinner i brushed my teeth,  text ethan saying goodnight and then put my phone on charge. i go into my cozy bed and then slowly drift off to sleep...

i wake up remembering school again:( i did the usual stuff like u usually would do in the morning... i went downstairs and grabbed some coco pops, u ate it then went to brush my teeth. i quickly packed some lunch and shoved my lunch box in my bag, said bye to mum and dad then closed the door walking to the bus stop. i got on the bus and sat with elly bc ethan was getting droven. we just chatted and we got off the bus heading into school. as i was walking i saw ethan so i started walking with him, he kissed my cheek and after saying a sweet "hello" and we held Hands to our lockers. "we have maths for our first lesson yay!" (note:the sarcasm) me and ethan let out a big moan and laugh that we had maths and ethan went over to his locker and then in the class smiling at me while i was walking to my locker smiling too. as i was heading to my locker suddenly "BANG!!" i banged into this

good looking guy with brown eyes and brown hair . "omg i am terribly sorry! " i spat out quickly. "all good i was the one that ran into u!" he smiled with a hint of a simple on his right cheek. "haha, anyway i havent seen u at school, are you new?" i say while flicking a bit of hair out of my face. "um yeah this is my first day here, I'm jake btw. do u know where 8lma room l_07 is?" he replied while passing me his timetable. " oh yeah u have maths with me cool come with with me!" i say while smiling."oh and btw my names lauren haha nice to meet u jake i say while smiling yet again . "yeah u to lauren! so I'm guessing u have been at this school since year 7?" he says while we were heading to maths. "oh nah actually i moved here 4 and a half weeks ago!" i replied while smiling and opening the door going into the classroom. "oh cool" he says while smiling at me. i just smile back at him. "um mrs pape this is jake he is new." i say while smiling. "ahh yes jake nice to meet u I'm ur new maths teacher! " she says while smiling. i smile back and go to sit down next to ethan and before i sit all he says is "this seat is taken". i look at him in a confused way and he just ignores me like i was not even standing right in front of him. i just glare back at him and sit towards the back next to mirranda. i see ethan glaring at me and looking at me in a i-can't-believe-u look. ethan obviously doesn't like me anymore, my eyes start to go puffy creating a small drop of water rolling down my cheek. I can't believe ethan.:( i was listening to jake telling him about himself when people were raising their hands asking him questions. i just looked down at my table thinking. 'why is ethan mad at me?' i then

see jake coming up to me, i quickly wipe my tear away. "hey can i sit there or is it taken? " he says to me. "no it's not taken sure u can sit there!" i say back smiling. he smiles and sits next to me. i wasn't focusing on what the teacher was saying, i was sad ethan didn't like me. i started to cry a little bit. jake looks at me stopping his work. "hey are u ok?" he says worridely. "yeah im f-fine i say sobbing. "I'll take u out for some fresh air ok?" he says with a smooth,soothing voice. "ok" i managed to say while letting out a fake smile.

Jake's P.O.V

Lauren i so nice,  she's beautiful and has a good kind personality. i would just like her as a sister or a best friend, not a boyfriend or anything:) she made me feel so welcome and i am glad for that!:)

Ethan's P.O.V

i was waiting for lauren and saved her a spot next to me, she wasn't back yet... finally she comes back, i had a relieved smile on my face. then i see this new boy next to her looking into her eyes, wtf? i got so mad, they were both talking to the teacher when i see lauren walking over to sit down next to me. i was annoyed so i said the seat was taken even though i was saving it for her. she looked at me in a confused way then i just ignored her. then i see her walking away....

Lauren's P.O.V

i was sobbing while i saw jack walking to the teacher. " what's the matter hunny?" mirranda says while coming up to me and rubbing my back that felt soothing and relaxing. "ethan h-ates me, idek why!" i say sobbing quietly. "oh baby, it's ok. do u want me to bring u out for some fresh air?" she says back "jake asked me just then but sure u can come!" i say while smiling. "sure whatever makes u happy!" she said smiling and kneeling down next to me waiting for jake to come back. jake then did a 'cmon lets go' gesture and we both got up and left the room. "what happened exactly? " jake asked with curious eyes while we left the room. "ethan" i say still with watered eyes. "ethan was happy and kind then came to an angry mean ethan, i just went to sit next to him and he said the seat was taken and he just ignored me!" i said while sobbing even more. "oh, anyway who is ethan? " he asked while rubbing my back reassuring that i was ok. "my boyfriend" i mumbled. "don't worry,  idk him but i know he will want u back!" he said while smiling and patting me on the back. "thankyou so much for ur help jake it means alot, u too mirry, u guys are amazing." i say while hugging them both. "no worries" they both say in sync. i love jake, i mean in a friend way, not anything else... i think he feels the same. i hope our friendship can continue on and we can become bestfriends!  he already feels like a brother to me even though i met him like 30 minutes ago. me, mirranda and jake sit on a bench and just talk, me and mirranda get to know jake alot and luckily we all had the same interests!  we planned to go out for lunch then movies then time zone altogether. I'm glad i have made a new good caring friend! :)
