"Sure. What is it??" I asked Sal. He looked down into my eyes, as if he was hesitating to say something.
"I was wondering..." he began, until someone behind me pushed into me. They had a box of things with them that went everywhere.
"I'm so sorry" the tall man apologised.
"No worries." I replied with a smile as I helped picked up his things. The man stared at me for a while until he smiled.
"Emily?" He asked. I stared closer at him.
"Jim???" I asked with a smile. "How are you??" I asked.
"I'm good. It's so good to see you again!" Jim replied.Jim was my old neighbour. I haven't seen him in years!
"I live in London now!" I revealed.
"Me too! I'm here in business" Jim replied with a smile.
"Me too" I replied with a smile.
"Would you like to grab a coffee some time, and catch up?" Jim asked.
"Sure! Here's my number" I said as I passed him a business card from my pocket.
"I'll definitely be calling!" Jim said as he smiled at me."Who's that?" Sal asked, with a sigh.
"Jim, my old neighbour" I revealed.
"So your gonna go on a date with him?" Sal asked.
"Well... a cup of coffee" I said with a smirk.
"Do you..like..him?" Sal asked.
"As a friend... for now" I said as I nudged Sals arm jokingly. "Anyway. What did you want to ask me??" I asked Sal.
"Nothing... it's fine" Sal said as he unconvincingly smiled at me.
"I'll see you tonight!" I said as I walked into the hotel.
"Bye" he sighed.
