                                            Beautiful in this world

»So...« Gaja slowly mouthed that word. »Did Jan mention me?«

»Huh? No.« I turned the page of an old German Bravo magazine, which previously belonged to Lena's big sister. They still existed in this day, but the old ones...well, let's say that they had a special feature – naked people in the middle, which were now replaced by posters. And I'm not talking about famous or good-looking naked people, I'm talking about what-they-called normal people. How was this considered normal?

I tell you what, it was certainly not attractive.

Parts that looked like something that came from Mr. Potato Head, and hair, oh god, the hair were everywhere. We didn't look at these people for the same reason boys looked at Playboy, we looked at them because we were curious about - what kind of a person would agree to have a naked picture of themselves in a magazine with their personal information on the side?

I mean, how the hell did they recruit these idiots? What, did they just randomly stopped you on the street and said: »Hey, how about we take a picture of you – naked, put it in a magazine for everyone to see, and write your personal information on the side for possible perverts that might want to contact you?« And the random guy or a girl just went: »Yeah, sure, sounds bitchin'! I just love the idea that my entire high school will see the picture of my genitalia

»Not a word?« Gaja interrupted my inner monologue.

»Nope.« I got distracted by a certain part of this males anatomy that reminded me of an angry porcupine.

»I actually,« Lena blushed. »met someone.«

»Where?«

»At the party.«

»Where was I?« Gaja stuffed her face with coconut chocolate.

»Drooling over Jan.« Lena furrowed her eyebrows, annoyed.

I knew where I was. In a deep, deep sleep. »What's his name?«

She ruffled her silky hair, which gently touched her shoulder, and softly spoke. »Miha.«

»Miha...« The hamburger-loving-fire-head diverted her eyes at the ceiling. »I've been with one guy with that name.«

»It's not him.«

»No wait, make that two.«

»Not them.«

»Does he chew on his left thumb sometimes, oh and is he short, like almost shorter than you, but not really...«

»No...« Lena was obviously grossed out by the chewing-thumb guy. Who could blame her...

»Oh, does he have crooked teeth, right here,« She shoved her fingers up her mouth, trying to show the right place of the mysterious-crooked-teeth guy.

»No! He's not one of your disgusting specimen! He is so gentle, with blue eyes and a charming smile...«

»And why are we hearing this now?« I demanded to know.

Her eyes shined. »He was so nice and gorgeous, and when I gave him my phone number I never thought he'd call, so I didn't want to get my hopes up, but,« She looked at her phone. »he just asked me out.«

Gaja and I stared at each other for a minute in disbelief, since we weren't use to Lena having crushes. Or guys. We were actually quite convinced that she might be a closeted lesbian up until now.

»And,« Gaja started. »can you see him now? Is he here, with us?« She stupidly grinned.

The non-lesbian threw a stuffed bear at her. »Shut up.« She turned towards me. »Lucija, will you go out with me?«

»See!« The rambunctious redhead jumped into the air. »I told you she wanted to make scissors with us!«

»What?« Said Lena with a high pitched voice. »I'm asking her out, with us – me and Miha.« She shook her head and focused on me again. »If you want to, with Arijan of course.«

»Hey, what about me?« Gaja got insulted.

»Sorry, I thought she had more chance going on a date with Arijan, than you with Jan.«

»Sss,« She made a hiss sound. »bitchy.«

They both stared at me.

»What?«

»Will you?«

I sighed. »I can't just ask him...«

»Mhm, I'm sure that's the reason. It has absolutely nothing to do with the mysterious stranger that you'd been texting with the entire night...«

»It has nothing to do with him!«

»Mhm...«

»It doesn't!« I growled. »Fine!« I took out my phone and send Arijan a message. Oh crap, what have I done...Sending a text to someone is easy, the hard part is waiting for the reply. I crawled into the fetal position and slowly chewed on some blankets.

»C'mon,« Gaja whacked my bare thigh, producing a rather disturbing sound. »I'm sure he was so surprised by your text that he passed out.«

Yeah, that's why he's not writing back.

»Do you think they all look like that?« Lena got a hold of the magazine I read before.

Gaja snorted. »No. This one looks like an elephant trunk...« She lifted the left corner of her upper lip in dismay. »What do you think?«

She slapped me again, while I was still nervously chewing the corner of the covers. »I don't know how they look like in flesh. No pun intended.«

»Liar.«

»I don't! It was dark...«

»Ugh,« Gaja rolled her eyes. »I'm sure your future boyfriend has a very nice penis.« She gazed at Lena.

»Shut up.« She giggled.

My pocket vibrated like never before. Hm, two new messages...

Arijan: Sure, lovely. You set the time and place and I'll be there.:)

What a gentleman...

Pervert: Madam, are you practicing naughty delights on each other, yet?

Huh. Go figure.

Pervert: May I advise stripping from the waist up...

That's it! I threw my phone in the other corner of the room.
