               »One person's craziness is another person's reality

                                                    Tim Burton

The events of last night weighed on my mind, making me irritable and neurotic. I understood a speck of what he told me – Grigori were Watchers and one of them was the woman/demon that attacked me last night. She spoke of a Anguis, which means dragon, and Luc was the dragon. So she was talking about Luc – that made sense, since she said I was marked by Anguis – meaning Lucifer.

He also mentioned someone else...Someone controlling the Grigori. That was the most frightening information of all.

I honestly had enough of his half-assed answers that explained nothing, so I decided to search for knowledge the old fashion way – World Wide Web.

I found these words: The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, who leads the world astray. He was hurled to the Earth and his angels with him.

So, if I get this right – dragon is just another metaphor for the Devil, like snake – all serpents and Anguis is an ancient word for a dragon. Okay, okay, I'm getting somewhere.

»Cheap way of research.« His voice scared me senseless for a minute.

I didn't turn around. »What?«

»Internet. It makes humans even more shortsighted than they already are.«

»Well then Luc,« I finally got the courage to look the Devil in the eye. »enlighten me.«

He stared at me with his demon eyes. His presence was so different from before – when he was human. Almost like a double personality. »What do you want to know?« He asked, stiffly.

»Watchers, what are they?« I crossed my arms.

His expression was hidden behind the mask of the malignant spirit. »Watchers or Grigori are angels-«

»They don't look like angels, more like demons.«

He grimaced in agitation. »Please, do not interrupt me.«

I nervously shifted my position on the rotating chair.

»As I was saying – they are angels, heavenly beings, those who fought for the Archs. Their name literally means wakeful, they never sleep, they never eat, and they never stop. They are the ultimate soldiers.«

»Who are the Archs?«

»The Archangels. When the Great War was fought, thousands of years ago, there were two sides – one were the Aderielas' and the other one were the Aarons'. Aderielas' were the ones who fought for order and compliance of all that is living – their commanders were called the Archs – the Archangels. Archs commanded the army of Aderiela Watchers, they were ruthless, behaving like they had one, collective mind.«

»Like bees.«

He motioned a growling expression in my way. »Yes, like bees. If they found someone who was heavily wounded in the midst of the battle, they simply ended him. And sometimes they even scarified their lives for victory. But there are Watchers who stopped thinking like one, who took the path of individuality. The Aarons'. They chose to stand up for themselves, think for themselves and fight for liberty.«

He stopped for a moment. If you looked closely, you could see the reflection of the past, reminiscing in his gaze.

»Who did the Aarons' fought for?«
